My husband and I spent 4 nights at Posada Olivar in Chacras de Coria, Mendoza. We found this posada through TripAdvisor, and we could not have found a better place. The posada has only 5 rooms, so it feels intimate and quiet. There is a kitchen for the guests to share, and the rooms are very comfortable and very clean....

We were 3 girlfriends looking for a place to unwind and relax during our trip through Argentina. We stayed for 4 nights and what we found in Posada Olivar has overwhelmed us and exceeded our expectations! We were very lucky to be able to book the room just the day before our arrival by calling directly the owner Jose and...

I was shocked when I arrived the place -- the real one is better than the photos! The rooms are very clean and beautifully put, breakfast was fantastic and the whole area didn't make me leave and explore Mendoza. There are days when I stayed in the hotel all day! I am a writer so a good working environment is...

Jose and Eugenia are fantastic hosts and they run a truly wonderful place. Very spacious super clean rooms, great hospitality overviewing a huge well kept garden with swimming pool. Exactly the place i needed after 2 months traveling; and found my relaxation. Just 20 min away from busy Mendoza city and surrounded by nice vineyards, restaurants and tours. Muchas gracias!...

I had a great time at Posada Olivar. It truly is a special place in Mendoza. Like an island of piece in the middle of the city. Toto and all the staff are very knowledgable about the region. I highly recommend a stay at Posada Olivar.

Toto, the host greeted us warmly on a welcoming arrival; the lush green grounds, manicured lawns and gardens home to a pristine swimming pool and the odd ancient tree make first impressions, well, perfect. Tastefully decorated, the dining area is a light and airy space. It's a hub for sharing a few glasses of the local Malbec with friends. There's...

The place is an adorable little place outside of the city. It's in the middle of the wineries and extremely nice and quiet. We went in the winter and the heaters kept it nice and warm, but unfortunately we couldn't use the pool out back. It's in walking distance of a couple of the wineries and restaurants, it's not a...

Entering the properting you'd think you've arrived to paradise! The place is so beautiful. The garden with grass, a small swimming pool and an orchard with 10 different fruit trees. I counted them.. The rooms face the garden and the swimming pool. Breakfast, continental, is served in the dining room. The staff is charming and helpful. Jose Luis is present...

“The posada has a total of 5 or 6 rooms, most of which are on the ground floor with a large patio with a lovely seating area directly facing the garden and a swimming pool. We stayed in one of the middle rooms and it was quiet, fresh and nice to socialise with other guests enjoying the patio. The room was large and spacious enough to fit 3 girls and all our suitcases with a king (and I mean KING) size bed and a single bed, big bathroom and a closet. Jose even offered to add another bed but there was no need. No A/C but there was no need for it even in the middle of the summer as the room never got hot and the night breeze was so refreshing.”
