We stayed one night in this hotel and it was very pleasant. The staff was very efficient and made sure that all our needs were met. I had requested that I wanted to be allowed to be with their chef to have a Mexican cooking class. I spent about three hours in the kitchen and I was given so many... More

Had a nice one night stay with them and enjoyed the hotel and spa. The Receptionist at the hotel was very accommodating and answered all our questions. The restaurant service was good and the lunch tasty. There is a large unused patio area outside the first rooms. Some added lounge chairs would be a great addition, since there is no... More

The rooms here are decorated in what I might call a traditional colonial style, elegant and comfortable. The Wifi works well and the pool area is exquisite. The dining area and bar are quite pleasant and the food is very good. It's my second visit and I would not hesitate to return.

Part of our personality is to preserve the Mexican style that characterizes us as a CASONA ( Old Mexican House ) but with the comforts of today. Thanks for your comments and we hope to see you soon on your next holidays in your Mexican Home: La Casa de los Patios :) More

Visited for a Saturday lunch (after a visit to the famous Ojeda knife shop). Pleasant and peaceful environment. Nice selection of good local food and beers. Lunch is later than some travellers might expect in Mexico. 2pm is quite common.

I no longer write reviews for Tripadviser but felt I needed to update my earlier review. Travelled with friends from Ajijic to Sayula to purchase kitchen knives from Ojeda's. (Wonderful knives and a great experience in itself.) Returned to La Casa De Los Patios for lunch. Again, the great food and wonderful service. This time, there were no flies. What... More

Last month, we had an issue, which nowadays has been resolved by using an environmental system (using fans with a water spray system) that helps to keep the flies away and provides a much refreshing atmosphere of the restaurant Hope to see you soon at home, Casa de los Patios Hotel & SPA. More

Travelled to Sayula to visit the Ojeda Knife Factory. Great experience and nice people. Had lunch at La Casa de Los Patios Hotel and Spa Restaurant. Beautiful space, good food, good service, but the flies were terrible. No apparent effort to mitigate. The ambiance and good food were overshadowed by the annoyance of continually having to wave the flies off... More

This is a lovingly restored large 19th century house that is now a first-rate hotel. I thought that there would be noise coming in from the restaurant at night but it was totally quiet after 9 pm and I slept like a rock.
