I stayed here for 2 nights whilst on business in Inverness. The B & B is in a stunning location situated close to the river. The premises are well signposted and very well presented. I was given a very friendly greeting by the owner on my arrival. I was shown to my room and advised about breakfast, guest lounge and... More

Business trip and the sole occupant in this quality 5 room guest house. Welcomed at the door on arrival by Ed and Nel. The resident lounge with log burner, cosy seating and brilliant view can't be beaten. Left my curtains open so I could fall asleep and wake up to the unobstructed views of green fields and the Cromarty Firth.... More

My stay was for one night only on business however I will certainly be returning for a longer stay in the future. Excellent hosts, comfortable rooms and a superb cooked breakfast from locally sourced produce - you can't beat that for a northern stay!

One evening when we asked if we could buy a bottle of wine and eat some of our own food (rather than go out to... More

We had a lovely room, immaculate, stylish & comfortable, with some thoughtful little touches. The breakfasts, with a lovely selection of different jams, was a great way to start the day. Wish we could have stayed longer, but this... More

This B & B hotel is a grand manse location by itself facing the Cromarty Firth. A spacious lounge for residents. A very comfortable bed with lots of pillows. Friendly proprietors. We went to the Balconie Hotel for our evening meal and were pleased with the meal. The manse was a relaxing stopover.

My husband and I visited Scotland in August 2015. We booked 3 places and this was the third. I was looking for an old style house within easy reach of the Highlands and Inverness and this fitted that description. I had requested a room overlooking Cromerty Firth and we were welcomed by Ed who showed us to our room. Beautifully... More
