Visited with my wife for a meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary (we were married there some years before). There appeared approximately 12 other people having dinner, the majority of which appeared to be guests. The staff were courteous and at tentative, whilst the menu offered 4-6 choices per starter, main and desert. The food was well prepared and just...

Just spent the weekend at the castle with my in-laws. Traditional Scottish castle which was steeped in history! Beautiful rooms and stairwells. The cons are the fact you don't get much for your money. Minimal grounds to walk without gardens. Very poor pressure in the showers. Average food with extra costs incurred in the breakfast for smoked salmon etc. All...

Spent 2 nights here. Lovely old castle. Very clean throughput. Really large comfortable room. 2 easy chairs, comfy bed and good sized bathroom. Friendly staff. Great variety breakfast menu and cooked to perfection. Would recommend yo try it. Hopefully be back sometime

Myself and my partner stayed at this hotel for one night. This is a lovely place to stay, the building is outstanding. The staff were friendly. The room that we stayed in had just been newly decorated, which was lovely. The breakfast was enjoyable - plenty to choose from. The only real criticism that I have about this hotel was...

Slightly tired, but what would you expect from a building of that age, food was very good, both for dinner and breakfast, ghost tour very interesting, and some of the walks around the castle were very good, staff great, barman gave us in depth history on the whiskys, we would certainly go back.

This is an excellent spot for a break or a special occasion. The castle just oozes history - do join the ghost tour to learn more. The WiFi coverage is quite restricted and the water pressure could be better but these are minor issues - it is an old castle after all. The food is excellent, the staff very helpful...

Amazing history, location and hotel. I gave it a four on hotel facility only because it is a 12th century castle. If it would have been a newer building I would have gave it a five but when your several hundreds of years old you expect some wear but it was all good wear. The staff and food are excellent...

Pulled up outside and were immediately disappointed by appearance of outside, looked extremely neglected. Upon entering were equally disappointed. Our so called "superior" room was barely basic. Bathroom door didnt fit properly n wouldnt shut. toilet roll holder fell off the wall when you touched it. Zero water pressure from shower. Small double bed, no headboard, cheap bare bedlegs exposed...

Me and my daughter, then me and my hubbie stayed at the Tulloch Castle for two nights and cannot fault it. Staff were lovely and the superior family room was stunning. We had dinner and breakfast and the food was lovely. Had friends from Greenock and USA also stay and had no complaints whatsoever

This was our 3rd visit to the castle, we love it there. It's a beautiful castle with years of history, plenty of ghosts, and set in a stunning location. Staff are very friendly, with one exception, the night porter was very sullen, lacking a sense of humour, and decided to lecture me about drinking on my birthday. Not something I...
