Beautiful room with slanted ceiling under the roof (Room 1), and large spacious bathroom. Quiet location, off the beaten track. The real hit was the breakfast though, the full english was just what was required after a wedding party the night before.

Enjoyed fine hospitality and a scrumptious peach and apricot bakewell tart in a sunny garden. There is tea room serving hot and cold food. Lovely array of cakes! Fantastic breakfast including a wonderful vegetarian black pudding. Rooms were very comfortable and i enjoyed a lovely walk along the canal path . A perfect spot if you are dropping off kids...

I stayed here whilst doing a 2 day sporting event. I arrived after my first event injured, the staff gave me every assistance including tea and plenty of sympathy. But I digress, it is a nice quiet place with a lovely tea room and farm shop. The room was small but very clean and tidy and provided everything you would...

Stayed here after a friends wedding at Briars Hall. Very nice B&B and a superb breakfast. Only downside was a weak shower and towels like sandpaper. Other than that I would definitely recommend this place for a short stay.

We had our first family experience of camping here. It's a lovely peaceful location with the added bonus of the tea rooms and farm shop on site if anything was needed. We were delighted to find loo roll, soap and paper towels in the toilet block. (Not sure what we were expecting really!) Recycling bins and friendly owners. It was...

Bacon amazing. Got bacon bap, plenty of hot bacon with loads of flavour, like bacon should taste. Small breakfast lovely as well, nice tasty produce and lovely toast. We even bought bacon and tin loaf from the shop. Staff nice and friendly. Definitely recommend and will be back soon.

I have been here now for 3 years with a school group doing the DofE, and it has been fantastic every time. The venue for the camping is fine with good facilities. The shop and restaurant, are superb with lovely food and great homemade food for sale. I personally will be coming back here for the breakfast and some homemade...

We were looking for somewhere to stay near Aughton and Hurlston Hall Golf Club for a family wedding. I did some research and stumbled across this wonderful hidden gem in the heart of the West Lancs countryside. We had previously lived in Ormskirk for quite a few years and had no idea of the existence of this place. We now...
