Stayed here for two nights on a family visit. Stayed at the granary cottage and it was lovely! Arrived later than we had planned but this was no problem! The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean and well decorated. The grounds are also very lovely and its dead peaceful at night. Saw the local chickens and sheep...

Pitch dark at night, no traffic, total silence, canal walks nearby , Martin Mere WWT 5 minutes drive away. Perfect location. The Shippon cottage has everything we needed, the original features and creaky floorboards add to the character. There is a lovely farm shop and tearoom up the lane and marina tearooms in both directions along the canal. There is...

We had a few days stay here and thoroughly enjoyed and can highly recommend, the Cottage is beautiful and well equipped, the location and gardens are scenic and tranquil and the hosts Phil & Sue are warm friendly helpful and accommodating . If we visit this area again we would have no hesitation on staying here again.

The Dairy is a small but well designed one bedroom cottage with a good kitchen and a wet room style shower room. The bed was very good with quality sheets and covers. If arriving...

My husband, sister and myself took our niece away who has special needs and that is why we picked The Stable for the wet room. The cottage was everything we hoped it would be and we will definitely come back. The bonus was finding out there was a hot tub in one of the fields which we were allowed to...

On arrival at the 'Shippon' cottage, we had a warm welcome from Phil and Sue, who not only brought us some new laid eggs, but offered to fix my noisy brake pads- which he duly did! - What service!!! The homely cottage was immaculate and very well equipped, far exceeding our expectations! Nearby delightful canal walks and friendly pubs, with...

Stayed in the Stable, the 5 stars are justified, lovely, well appointed place to stay, loved the en suite wet room. The place really is a great escape from reality, so relaxing, safe for the kids, who loved their break there, and a great location to explore the local area. The owners are so conscientuous, they really do want you...
