We stayed in room 6 of The Broadoak Hotel from 1/7-3/7. We were attending a family party and chose the Broadoak as it was convenient to where we needed to be. I can only say wow as the place was a real gem. From the moment we checked in until the moment we left we were made to feel welcome...

Recently we attended a family party here. The function room was somewhat dreary and the air conditioning seemed to be working only in a very small area to one end of the room. A buffet was provided by the hotel which was quite good but nothing outstanding.

I've visited The Broadoak on three separate occasions, and each time have found the landlord and bar staff quite rude. It's unclear whether they actually have a policy to discourage clientele based purely on physical appearance, but given the circumstances it's difficult to draw any other conclusion. On each occasion I was accompanied by two others, and we were all...

I was pleasantly surprised with the room which was spacious and clean. Bathroom likewise with tv, Wi-Fi and tea & coffee making facilities, all which worked fine. We ate...

Stayed for one night whilst working in the area and was very pleasantly surprised. Room decor is excellent. Excellent menu in the restaurant area of the bar. Very homely feel about the whole place and a much more pleasant stay than the usual national chains.
