We stayed here as we were attending a wedding in the area Our arrival was dealt with swiftly and efficiently, we were seen to our room and shown the amenities. It was cool when we walked in but as we started to get ready the heat became unbearable. We tried to open the bottom window but the sash had broken....

The hotel was clean and friendly and the room quite spacious. The room was a little tired but it was not a problem. The staff were very friendly. The cost was good and the breakfast was very good and plentiful.

Nice and clean hotel, room looked in good decor and have no aircon. Meals were small, cheap cuts of meat not very good choice of meals unless you like indian food, room was cleaned every day, but replenishment of tea and coffee was minimal.

We were looking for a B&B and, after driving around St Ives, were given directions by the local petrol station to Oliver's Lodge. We were shown to a room on the first floor which looked adequate for our needs. However, it seemed to be close to a main road and one had the choice of opening the window to get...

Traditional / old fashioned hotel with acceptable facilities - nothing outstanding, except the toast at breakfast that seemed pleasantly crunchy! Polite and helpful staff. Nothing particularly bad either.

Stayed here twice (yes, went back) whilst working in St Ives. The staff are really friendly and the hotel is in a great position for walking into town or nearby business park, and it has parking. Breakast was good; curry for dinner ok, especially the starter, but there just needs to be a bit more attention to detail such as...

This was a decent honest hotel with friendly staff and a nice bar. Breakfast was ok but could do with more hearty portions when it comes to bacon! The room was comfortable and everything was working perfectly. Was a bit drab however a bit of renovation and decoration would sort that right out. If you're over in St Ives for...
