The chap on reception was very helpful, I had to phone from a train on a bad connection to reserve arrived an hour late, (after midnight) and was still made to feel welcome! The rooms seem to newly renovated or brand new, a much higher standard than I expected. Soundproofing in the rooms is first rate, the best sleep I've...

Medina del Campo is a small city, 2 1/2 hours north of Madrid. They don't see many tourists there, as the Castilla de la Mota is really the only well known historical site that would be of interest to tourists. But the largest animal shelter in Spain, Scooby Protectora de Animales, is also in Medina. Scooby rescues hundreds of animals...

I stayed at the Reina Isabel for 5 nights during mid-June 2015. It is a modest hotel which has very clean en-suite rooms with very comfortable beds and smart modern furnishings. However, there are not really any public rooms, apart from the bar and comedor. The management do not speak English but are extremely kind and helpful. There is a...

This is a very nice, small, family-owned and run hotel. The staff was extremely helpful to us. Rooms are clean, comfortable. Good parking area behind hotel for guests, and very good coffee! We'll definitely stay at Reina Isabel again.

Its a very nice clean hotel. Breakfast isn't included, and may be best to have elsewhere. You hear everything that goes on in the other rooms, and the toilets from the other rooms you hear like its next to the bed. On the plus side, parking, cleanliness, nice staff, and its in the center. I will be staying at this...

Stay here whenever I go to work at the Scooby Animal Rescue. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Staff is friendly but they do not speak English. The tapas in the bar is very good and the bartender is a wonderful man.
