I stayed for three nights at La Bandita Townhouse. This is a very nice hotel, which was previously a monastery. It's in the historic centre of Pienza, a stone's throw away from the balcony with a breathtaking scenery or the cathedral. This is a design hotel recently refurbished and it shows in the furniture and in the design, which mixes...

La Bandita is a wonderful and charming property located in the delightful "village" of Pienza; the staff is lovely and the room was refreshingly and comfortably austere. Regrettably, I stayed but one night and a cold June rain made leaving the windows open problematic (cold and damp versus bracing fresh air - always a conundrum). Dinner at the hotel restaurant...

The attention to detail is superb, with beautiful, open, spacious rooms and a large lounge area with a great local wine list. But for a "B&B", with limited amenities and on-site staff and a disappointing breakfast, this was a very expensive place to stay, especially out of season. Great location, but limited parking.

Our first visit to Pienza. We were warmly greeted on arrival and upgraded to a "Townhouse" type room (#8, bedroom and tub on top floor, and family room with TV and sofas on lower level); very comfortable. We were greeted as old friends in the restaurant for dinner by both staff and John, the owner, and must say enjoyed one...

My husband and I were lucky enough to visit LaBandita for a third time in early October. We were warmly welcomed back by all the staff, including the owner John. Our room was once again pristine. We enjoyed three amazing dinners in the restaurant and everything once again exceeded all of our expectations. This is a very unique and special...

This was my favorite part of a 2 week tour of northern Italy. First let me start with the town. Pienza is a town high in the hills of Tuscany built during the Renaissance. It is small, romantic and beautiful. Everything and everyone has a charm about them that is infectious, making you want to return. Now lets talk about...

Tough to top what has already been said in other reviews other than to say that after renting 2 interconnecting rooms on the top floor for a week for our family of 4, we cannot wait to return. It was an oasis from the heat with perfectly functioning AC, comfortable beds, good water pressure and lots of hot water, friendly...

Sometimes a stay in a luxury hotel has all the amenities but lacks warmth. It can play all the notes but not make the music. La Bandita is the real deal. Great design, really great staff, from the front desk to the guy who takes care of whatever comes up, the housekeeper, and the owner (who made the rounds at...

Pienza is a wonderful town to come back to after a day of wine tasting and having LaBandita Townhouse to come back to makes it more magical. This five star oasis has every amenity you could want. The staff is very helpful and they have made it very easy to navigate the entire Val d'Orcia region by providing each visiter...

Truly love this place. Staff and level of service really exceeded our expectations . They took care of everything and made the best recommendations for local activities. Location is perfect as it is between both Montalcino and Montepulciano and right near the "streets of love" with amazing views for sunrise or sunset. Plus, Restaurant has amazing food for breakfast and...
