This is long overdue as our trip to Tenuta was in April 2012. We absolutely loved our stay here. We stayed in the room Vermentino. Amazing views from this room. We did not find there to be any noise that we could hear from the road, and we are very light sleepers. The bed was very comfortable and they also...

What an amazing place to visit, and to base yourself for seeing the most scenic part of Tuscany. Tenuta Santo Pietro is extremely cosy, the staff were very helpful and also non-intrusive. It was very quiet and relaxing which is what we needed. The grounds are lovely and the owner and staff were always helpful, yet not intrusive whatsoever. We...

My partner and I with some family stayed at Tenuta Santo Pietro over 4 days during our wedding which was held in Pienza. Initially our inquiries, booking and requests were all dealt with promptly and efficiently by Nicola and nothing was too much to ask. Upon arrival at the hotel Giuseppe, his family and staff made an immediately good impression....

You never have a second chance to make a first impression. That is basically what marked our overall stay at Tenuta Santo Pietro. When we arrived we were greated by a young lady who we assume being the wife of the owner and who briefly showed us around. Upon our arrival the owner was also present but did not welcome...

My daughter and I stayed here during a memorable Mother/Daughter trip to Italy and this is truly a place not to be missed! The villa itself is beautiful and has all the modern amenities without losing any of its old world charm. The grounds are gorgeous and the villa is comfortable, immaculate, and charming! This area of Italy is truly...

I have been traveling to this region of Tuscany for many years and I know it well. Tenuta Santo Pietro is a lovely spot to settle for a week. We used this as our 'home base' and traveled the back roads of Tuscany. Giuseppe is great for advice on day trips... and evenings out. The Villa itself is so comfortable;...

My husband and I stayed just this past week at this gorgeous Tuscan villa. We were enjoying a trip to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The experience was better than I could have ever dreamed! We arrived Friday afternoon and were promptly greeted with a smile and shown our spacious, modern room overlooking the stunning vineyard and Pienza in the distance....

Before staying at this place, I read the TA reviews. The reviews are excellent but as often is the case, it was the negative review that caught our eye. We hate noise: especially engines, dog-barking and loud human voices. This place is gentle and we are baffled as to how any reviewer could say Tenuta Santo Pietro is noisey. We...

My two girlfriends and I went to this beautiful spot for a cooking class while staying in the hill towns of Tuscany. The view was breathtaking and the experience was unforgettable. We had an amazing lesson from the Chef and recieved excellent service from Giuseppe and the rest of the staff. Santo Pietro would be perfect for family reunions, romantic...

Santo Pietro is the perfect place in Tuscany! If you are looking for spacious, comfortable rooms with luxury bedding and a private modern bath, this is it! If you are looking for that true Tuscany warm “family-owned” B&B experience, this is it! If you value input from a local resident as to what to see & do, where to go,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The new owners of Tenuta Santo Pietro recently completed a loving and total restoration of the property to maintain the integrity of its historic 13th-century structure while offering all the modern comforts that will make you feel at home. The inn is fully air-conditioned (windows are also screened so you can enjoy the Tuscan air) and has wireless access and TV in every room. Each of Santo Pietro's twelve bedrooms has its own marble bathroom, and offers a welcoming bed with exquisite Italian-made linens, down pillows and comforters. An expansive manicured lawn sits off the back of the house, along with several patio areas, comfortably furnished so you can sit and look out over the terraced lawn to the pool and to the town of Pienza beyond.
