Accommodation was adequate but the location on the square made up for any deficiencies. Staff need training in friendliness and customer service (reception guy being the exception - we requested a room with a bath and he was able to accommodate us) Restaurant was closed with no explanation.Breakfast was a little sad. Garden terrace needs a little upgrading and doesn't...

It's hard to give any hotel 5 stars after perfection at UNA hotel in Rome but this was very close. Wonderfully helpful staff, very nice breakfast (ignoring some molding fruit which I can't wrap my brain around the staff serving). Gorgeous, gorgeous view from the outdoor dining area. Our room was basic but spacious. Limited but nevertheless nice view of...

Overall a pretty good hotel. Staff were helpful, a reasonable European breakfast. The hotel grounds are nice with great views of the surrounding hills. Being an old convent, the floors are tiled and people rolling their luggage down the hallway can create a lot of noise. Same with the doors closing - the latches on the doors are quite loud....

The hotel is ok. My room was clean, but very worn and the décor was a little strange. It is a beautiful building and amazing location, so I would recommend staying here - but just know what to expect. The front desk personnel are not friendly. At all.

The room was lovely and spacious with the faint scent that I can only describe as being like a grandparents house creating a nostalgic atmosphere. I especially enjoyed the open beams for the ceiling and the rather large and modern bathroom. The bed was comfortable and I slept rather well before we went to see more of the countryside. (We...

If you are looking for a smart, modern chain-type hotel full of polished chrome and cutting edge design, this place is not for you. It offers stunning views over the surrounding valley from the terrace and from the rooms facing that direction. The rooms are comfortable but best described as "shabby chic", although everything works well enough. Breakfast is excellent;...

Hotel is right in the centre of the old town of Pienza. Beautiful building and quirky rooms with no instructions, but really character and history. Parking can be a bit tricky, but is OK if you don't mind a little walk. Secluded pool and good restaurant. Fabulous views from the terrace.

Without a doubt this is one of the best hotel in Pienza but information on the website are misleading. first of all - hotel doesnt have a parking (closest one is public parking 5 minutes from the hotel - if You are lucky to find place there). second - not all rooms have a beautiful view, our was with the...

A beautiful hotel crafted from a 13th century Franciscan Convent. Nice comfortable rooms and the views across Val D'orcia from the breakfast/restaurant terrace are breathtaking. The restaurant offers good albeit slightly pricey food with an excellent selection of wines. The staff are friendly and helpful. WiFi is an issue though. The hotel claims it is available in all rooms but...

We had valley view rooms which had a spectacular views from the bed and bathrooms . The hotel also has a great terrace for dinner or just have a Bellini to watch the glorious sunsets. Rooms and pool were great too
