it is a perfect location, fully in a calm area, with magnificent view to the hills. close enough to buy your day-to-day stuff, just below 30min to Florence or S Giminiano (on good roads, which is not often the case in Toscana) . Very clean, well maintained. Extremely friendly and very cuomster minded owners. Definitely a place to come back....

The property is lovely and quiet with amazing views of the tuscan countryside. Lisa is helpful and friendly, always with a big smile. We stayed in the Ginestra apartment. It was very clean (I am a stickler on this), probably one of the cleanest places we've stayed at. The kitchen was a nice size and had a four burner gas...

Fantastic experience. We arrived late and were greeted with a marvellous Italian buffet. Lovely hillside location with a great pool. Quiet and pastoral but not too far from the FiPiLi highway which takes you to Florence, Pisa, etc. Lodgings were good and well equipped. There was even an espresso machine (this is Italy after al). Liza and her family give...

We spent a week at Podere Casanova at the end of august. We are a family with two children of primary school age. Kids loved it and dream to come back. This is an excellent place from every perspective - property itself, rooms are clean and equipped, grill available for every room, nice swimming pool, nice panoramic view into the...

First week in Rome, second week in Tuscany. We were so grateful for the beautiful apartment, and the relaxing atmosphere of Podere Casanova. Rome is a busy, dirty, noisy city. What a blessing to be able to spend time in the scenic beauty of Tuscany and this wonderful family farm. Lisa and her family were such gracious hosts. All the...

We spent two weeks at podere Casanova and had a amazing holiday. The two of us stayed in the gelsimino apartment which has a kitchen, sitting area, a bedroom with a fan and a bathroom. The apartment was furnished in a lovely rustic Tuscan style. The pool area is clean, well stocked with sun loungers and very relaxing, with amazing...

This was our second visit to Podere Casanova, for 5 weeks in May/June this time. The Lorenzo family are lovely, friendly, engaging hosts who really go out of their way to make guests feel relaxed and at home. We stayed in the Cipresso two bedroom apartment which is very large and was perfect for us and our two daughters. The...

We have just returned from a wonderful week staying at Podere Casanova. From the moment we arrived we fell in love with the beautiful scenery and lovely accommodation. Lisa and her family were so welcoming and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in 'Ginestra' villa and loved the little private garden that came with it; just perfect...

When you book accommodations over the internet, you understand that you are taking a risk. Podere casanova was well worth the risk. Lisa and her family embody the highest level of hospitality. My 16 month old daughter had so much fun feeding the goats, playing on the playground and exploring the grounds. This is a perfect place for a family...
