I stayed here over New Years and found everything here to be wonderful! The owners were very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding Tuscany. The house was very well maintained and clean. Definitely recommended!

Francesca and Fabio are perfect hosts! Not only were the accommodations and grounds beautiful, my stay was made most pleasurable by their sincere and genuine hospitality. We were pleased beyond measure with our 7-day stay at Il Cigliere. Fabio welcomed us with a great basket of food, wine, and their own olive oil. We could not have asked for a better host! Our accomodations were excellent! We were two couples traveling in Tuscany and the location midway between Pisa and Florence was perfect for our day...

Il Cigliere is a barn that is part of a recently restored rural complex.The barn is about 160 square meters on two floors.On the ground floor are a kitchen, a large living room with a fireplace, double sofa bed and single sofa bed and a bathroom with shower.The kitchen is complete with stove, a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave, a toaster, coffee maker, refrigerator and all you need to cook and eat.In the living area there is a dinning table, a spacious and comfortable sofa and satellite TV.Upstairs there are two double bedrooms with large closets and a bathroom with a Jacuzzi.The barn is equipped with air conditioning and a laundry.Extra costs are two: the GPL and the turist levy.The cost of GPL is calculated according to the price of the Chamber of Commerce of Florence equal to 1.325 euros per liter.The Local Tax is 1.00 € per day for up to 6 days.They are free to children under 14 years.Prices include cleaning and internet access is free.The cleaning of the house is made partly in the middle of the week and complete at the end of each week.Outside is a large barbecue area and an area where you can sunbathe with sunbeds.You can access our vegetable garden and pick vegetables freely.There is approximately 6 km: Golf Sports Club Association ( Vinci city) where you can play golf.Trekking, riding, cycling and mountain biking and it is possible long walks through vineyards and olive groves. At “The Cigliere” There is always the staff that we can ask for anything and the owner lives next door. ... more   less
