A really excellent hotel with garden and pool right on the lake shore. Booked through Inghams who have just started going there as 2nd part of 2 centre holiday, local rep fantastic. Helpful, friendly staff, building and grounds impeccably kept, the best breakfast spread I've ever seen in an Italian hotel. Had just started an evening meal concession when we...

The hotel is in a superb location on the shore of the lesser known, but equally picturesque Lake Iseo. It has Junior and Senior 'suites' in a separate building right beside the lake. We had the Senior suite (a 3 bedroom apartment) whose french doors opened directly on to the water, giving magnificent views up and down the lake. The...

We spent four nights at the Rivalago to celebrate my wife's birthday, and we found it to be exactly what we were hoping to find. The location by the lake, immaculate garden and pool, efficient and very friendly service were all we could hope for. We had upgraded to a suite and found the extra space very nice but would...

We stayed here for the second time recently, having already stayed at a great favourite - La Villa Hotel Mombaruzzo in Piedmont which sets the highest standards - and again we loved it. This hotel is absolutely immaculate. Very nice rooms - well worth booking a lake view though the other rooms are fine - and friendly helpful staff. This...

This is a wonderful hotel, perfect in every single detail. Directly in the lake and in front of the romantic Montisola island. Delicius breakfast, amazing location for your aperitive. The nest experience on Italian lakes, even better than Como or GardaLake

idyllic location, follow a quaint narrow winding path from the village centre, which opens out at the end as you reach hotel front door, the widening path also gives access to the deck, pool area, and a lush green lawn all with comfortable seating and just beyond - a few metres away, the ducks bob around on the calm waters...

This was our fifth stay at the Rivalago and it was as perfect as ever! This is one of the few places that we keep going back tand back to and no trip to northern Italy is complete without staying here, everything about it is fantastic. Get the boat across to Monte Isola and have a pre dinner drink as...

The hotel itself is very beautiful. All is nicely decorated. The rooms are clean. Only thing I missed, was a bathtub and a movie channel (Pay-TV). The staff is really friendly. The garage is a bit small and parking is not that easy. On the website it said that parking was complimentary. However, when checking out, they charged us 8...

We booked this hotel primarily on the basis of the positive reviews on this site and we were not disappointed. The setting is beautifully tranquil - one could spend all day just staring across the lake. It is worth paying for a lake-view and balcony. The staff were unfailingly helpful and polite. The variety on offer for breakfast met with...

Just returned from 5 nights in Sulzano. The location of this hotel is superb right on the lakeside and a short walk from the boat station. Unfortunately this year our room needed a good clean. there was lots of dust on the surfaces and the top of the bed headboard was covered in a build up of dirt ! I...
