We stayed in Grand Hotel Villa Fiorio on one occassion for the weekend, it was in May. Hotel itself is nice - clean and comfortable beds. Small selection of meats and cheese for breakfast and unfortunately we couldnt use the pool as they were cleaning it. Other than that all good

I stayed here in the off season with a small film production team. There were only a few other guests at the hotel with us. The historically significant location had been the private home of Mussolini's personal physician. The estate was later converted to a boutique resort that catered to well-known film stars. Sophia Loren had a suite where she...

I have attended the wedding of a friend's daughter, I was there as a guest, and very much appreciated the kindness , hospitality and attention to details of the local staff. The decoration for the wedding was organized by the hotel and was enchanting . Food was excellent and varied.

After reading some negative reviews I wasn't sure that I wanted to stay here but my friend said only one night and already dark so we decided to spend a night here. It turned out to be very good night sleep, very clean room and good size for 2 people or even 3 with the balcony. The staff was very...

A turn-of-the-century villa, with faded charm the way Italy is at it's best. Diplomats and kings used to have receptions here. Today, less diplomats more wedding receptions in the beautiful garden, guests having a prosecco at the pool and others just kicking back at (still at the pool). Couples on a romantic getaway, couples with children enjoying the garden and...

Every two months or so I travel to Grottaferrata for business. I've tried some other hotels in this small town, but this one is by far the best. The rooms are clean, the beds are ok and the prices are competitive, but what singles this place out is the staff.... they will go a long way to comfort all your...

I enjoyed my stay at Grand Holtel Villa Fiorio in most every way. Grottaferratta & Frascati are wonderful towns to come back to after exploring Rome for the day, or even as far as Orvieto. The morning breakfast provides a very good start to a busy day of touristic ventures. I enjoyed breakfast on their pool patio, and even though...

Pros: front desk staff went above and beyond for us as we had unexpected business matters we needed to attend to and they scanned, copied and faxed for us without hesitation. They also recommended great restaurants and helped us with our lost luggage debacle which took two painful days to resolve (may you rot in travelers hell dastardly Easy Jet)....

We stayed here 1 night just because of its proximity to Ciampino airport for a flight next day, thank goodness it was only 1 night...on the website and indeed in the brochures in the hotel it looks beautiful but i think this is an innaccurate picture of the hotel itself. Admittedly we were there mid october so out of season,...

We chose to stay at Villa Fiorio after deciding that staying in central Rome would perhaps be a little too hectic. Surrounded by it's own private 'park' (read: Garden with a few trees in it), the Villa is a 2.4km drive away from the town centre in preeeetty much the middle of nowhere, down a main road that doesn't look...

“All rooms are non-smoking. If you are a smoker, ask for room 324, it has a spacious terrace with a wonderful panorama.”

“We arrived on a Saturday for a three night stay, there was a wedding, so we were given a garden room in a separate building. We were moved to the main hotel for night tow and three. The garden room was quite apparently rarely used, and so it was without a doubt that we were willing to move into the main hotel at the hotels soonest convenience, ie for Sunday nite. It would appear that this venue is quite popular for weddings, so if you are there on the weekend through the summer** you have been informed. (On the return to Rome we stayed at another Grottaferratta hotel, Park Hotel Villaferrata, that was larger, however there the use of the facility for weddngs was even more dominant.”
