This is a nice hotel.....just make sure that if you are staying on a Saturday night, that they don't give you a room above the night club!! They offered to give us ear plugs. :( It is near a nice sleepy little town that you can walk to.

As another reviewer said, though the decor is a bit dated, and it's obvious that the hotel is older, the desk staff was friendly, and the hotel is well-located. It was easy to find, and there was plenty of parking. Our room overlooked the back of the kitchen and therefore lots of trash bins, but we left the shades closed,...

Stayed in the hotel for a family function, have been here numerous times between hen parties, weddings, out for lunch etc. I'll be honest, the decor is a bit dated and the corridor to the rooms is in need of repair, the carpet on the stairs is threadbare in areas and it could do with a bit of tlc. But...

We booked into this hotel for a family function and I have to say it was very enjoyable. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival, promptly checked in and given our room. The room was basic, clean and comfortable but I have to admit it was probably the best bed ans sleep I've had in a hotel in a long time....

We have had the early bird menu on two occasions recently and found both visits equally delightful. The food is superb and the relaxing ambiance has to be experienced to be believed. We spent several hours at our table chatting after our meal and didn't feel compelled to move. Quite the opposite, while the staff were extremely busy they still...
