Beautiful old house; excellent location; spacious, comfortable room and bath with old heart pine trim; absolutely everything one could desire for breakfast (all of it delicious); and the warmth and graciousness of Geraldine combined to make our stay perfect. Just wish we could have stayed longer!

Highfield House is a lovely stone home atop a hill in Trim, with a very nice garden behind it. The manager was friendly and accommodating, especially when we asked at the last moment to arrive a day early. Our room was clean, nicely decorated and with a comfortable bed. The excellent breakfast offered a range, from a continental style to...

Eleanor was a delightful hostess at this lovingly restored former maternity hospital. It is conveniently located within easy walking distance of Trim Castle and the charming town centre. Our room was not large but well appointed and very comfortable. We were at the back of the hotel and found it very quiet. We were offered tea and scones upon arrival...

My wife and I really enjoyed our brief stay at Highfield House. After a long flight from Brazil and a day in the Valley of the Boyne, we were so pleased to check into such as beautiful BandB! The rooms are comfortable and beautifully furnished. The owner, Geraldine Duignan's personal touch is apparent in very corner. Her hospitality was five...

Highfield House was our first stop on a month long trip to Ireland, and it was a great choice for us. The facility is elegant, but not overwhelming. The rooms are clean and large by B&B standards. Breakfast is served in rooms with small tables, or a large dining room with one long table. The owners live on site and...

We stayed one night at this B&B and wish we could have stayed longer. The owner was just so friendly and keeps a beautiful guest house and garden. The room was very comfortable and we had one of the best breakfasts in all of our stays. Highly recommend.

We had a large family group (7 in all) and Madeline arranged a great series of rooms for us all. Each room different and masterfully refinished. Spotless and friendly are a great combination. Trim Castle is wonderful and a family of donkey's graze in the meadow across the street. We stayed in a total of 7 B &B across Ireland...
