My boyfriend and I found Artemis Village on a hostel booking site on our 6 week trip in Greece. When we arrived, we were very confused as it is the FURTHEST place from a hostel you could ever imagine! Crisp white and bright blue villas greeted us on the sea side, and at night you could see Fira lit up...

Artemis Village is a hidden gem in Santorini. The location is outside the city, which means it is quiet and serene. The views of the sea from the hotel balcony are amazing. Rooms are very nice and clean. The room rates were extremely affordable. There is also a computer with internet to use for free, plus a beautiful pool. The...

Even though is pretty far away from Fira and any available beach, Artemis Village is a good choice for those who rent cars or come to the island by their own. They have a beautiful pool, the owner and his family are very friendly and the place is very "cicladic". If you prefer to stay at the pool instead of...

The hostel is located in Karterados suburbs, on the east seaside, exactly near the Santorini airport. So you can clearly watch and hear all landing and taking off planes. So don't expect having quiet night. The pickup from the port was late so we had to pay additionally to the girl on the port information desk for the call to...

Overall stay in ok. Good points:- 1 - Room is clean 2 - Quiet Bad points:- 1 - Too far from Fira and OIA (as highlighted by other travellers those without transportation will have to heavily dependent on Artemis). We only will go out around 930am and got back to Artemis Village after 1050pm as he drove us. 2 -...

I stayed here with my boyfriend in the beginning of July, 2009 and we were extremely satisfied with our stay. Artemis was waiting for us at the ferry dock and his enthusiasm for Santorini instantly made us even more excited about our stay there. He was extremely friendly and kept repeating that if there was anything we needed, just ask....

We stayed at Artemis village for 2 nights and found it a great place. Artemis - the owner - was very friendly and offered lifts from to airport/ port as well as into Fira. (As an aside, his wife Anna was slightly monosyllabic when it came to answering questions, though she did offer coffee, ice tea etc and was generally...

Artemis Village was incredible! It was certainly one of the best places I've stayed in my entire life! Location is great (all rooms have view directly out to the Ocean with a large balcony) and it's a 3 min walk to the beach. Beautiful, warm pool, right on a cliff overlooking the Ocean. The rooms were well sized and clean....

We booked Artemis Village at the last minute, having been put off our earlier choice by a negative review. We looked at lots of places all over Santorini but had a really good feeling about this place from the outset as they seemed so friendly and helpful from their e-mails. Artemis Village is near Katerados and is run by Artemis...

Artemis village was a wonderful place to stay in Santorini! While not in town, it is only a few short minutes away by ATV or scooter and allows easy access to the entire island. Artemis, his wife and children were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating, making us coffee every morning and driving us to and from the port. We would highly...
