Had a great stay for two nights. The staff were great. The food was great, dinner in particular was exceptional. Was peaceful and comfortable. Ample parking. Activities are available on site. The snooker table in the upstairs bar / salon was great. Will be back.

Tucked away down a beautiful drive is this amazing farmhouse-turned-B&B, not far from many of the D-Day sites which is what brought my family and I to the area. We were in awe from the moment we stepped out of the car. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. My family and I ended up staying in...

The images of the hotel looked great, it was exactly where we wanted to be and fairly central for all the activities we had planned for the trip, not too busy or near a populated area. When we got there it was better than we expected, the owners were extremely warm and helpful, the staff likewise. The accommodation was clean,...

Simply sublime, the place is superb, the hosts welcoming, and the food is to die for! We will visit again for sure. So much D Day history all around the area, Utah Beach, St Mare Eglise etc. Plus several museums.

This is a lovely farmhouse-and-stables converted to a wonderful B&B with a great restaurant. There is ample free parking, the rooms all overlook the central courtyard, as does the entrance to the restaurant where dinner and breakfast are served. The food is excellent and the rooms are spacious and clean, with bug-grilles on the windows so they can be left...

We stayed there when we were bicycling, no problem. You can take the train to Carentan which is a wonderful town filled with lots of WW II stuff. From Carentan it's a nice ride to Le Grand Hard, we stopped a lot along the way at Dead Man's Corner and a lot of the roadside memorials. Also stopped in St. Marie du Mont at the charcuterie and at the Musee de la Liberation, so we took a round about way to get to Le Grand Hard, maybe 5 hours. I would think you would want to stop at all the same places. From the hotel it's under an hour to Utah Beach, and then it's an easy day trip to all the WWII attractions north. There is so much to see and do in this area that we could have easily spent another couple of days here, but we left to ride the Tour de Manche itinerary to Saint Malo, then down to Rennes.

If you are interested, I wrote about our trip to the D-Day Beaches and Normandy on my website, Experience France By Bike. I would wholeheartedly recommend...not fancy, just nice and comfortable!!! Wonderful bicycling too!!

Yes, there is a kid's menu. When we were there there were lots of families with kids and most of their plates were empty at the end of the meal, so assumed that the options were liked. If you send a note, I'm sure that they will send you a sample kids menu. This is a family place, so they work hard to keep their guests happy!
