Get stuck close to Split and since there was no other choice and everything else was full, i went to Alkar. Do not expect anything fancy, it`s a building and concept from 30 years ago, or maybe more. Lobby is completely outdated and the bar is something to laugh about - anyway i never saw anybody there, barman or customers. The building looks like a facility for -poor-students. Check in was fast and staff polite. I`ve managed to shock the front desk when i asked if room service is available. Room service? What is that? Of course not, of course not... The two rooms that i`ve got were located at second floor, elevator came straight from Tito era but it was working. Room was clean and very basic with outdated furniture and a TV with local stations and poor quality reception. An empty fridge was available, under the TV.Bathroom was clean, plenty towels and a hairdryer available.Bed sheets were clean. One of the "beds" was actually a sofa that can be extended. I found some wood under the end of the bed, as a support. Nice view from the balcony if you choose to ignore the building in the distance which looks like a ghetto, with underwear and other clothes hanging on a rope. Restaurant was a good experience, waitress was nice and very fast. Food and drinks, cheap. I mean, really cheap. And good. Internet was slow, good for reading e-mails and not more. Night was quiet, nothing was disturbing me. Check out fast.
If you don`t have another choice, you can stop for a night, it`s not so bad.

A very simple hotel, in a beautiful little town. The staff were lovely and I experienced no problems at all. It is not plush and the bed was two singles pushed together, but it is nice enough and worth a visit.

Beautiful hotel set in the picturesque village of Sinj. The reception staff are so friendly and go out of their way to help you. Our room, was really nice, we had a balcony with a bit of a view. The issue we had with our room, was house cleaning. The bed linen had been changed before we got there. We stayed for a week and the linen was not changed. The hand soap and toilet roll was never replaced, our bins were not emptied either. We said this to reception and they instantly had the room tidied while we were at dinner. Which can I just add the food is fantastic and very reasonably priced, cooked and presented to perfection. Ibizi the restaurant manager is so very kind and informative about where to visit near Sinj.

This Hotel was for night 3 on a weeks tour of Croatia booked with Holiday Options in the UK and organised by Elite Travel in Croatia. After a long day visiting Dubrovnik and travelling north to Sinj we expected to have a small 3 star hotel on a half board basis. Small it was with a small room with a tiny bathroom. Certainly not 3 star and more like 1 star by UK standards. The small town was supposed to be attractive and a few tour colleagues made time to visit it in the evening and confirmed that it was busy and attractive. The dinner was awful. Whether the a la carte would have been better we could not tell. There were no other guests in the dining room. There was a choice of wine - Red or White. The wine list showed others but we could not converse with the staff sufficiently to make ourselves understood. The Buffet breakfast was equally bad.

I was in Sinj to spend time with family over Christmas.
The room was a great size with a comfortable bed and a big bathroom with lots of storage.
Front desk staff were very friendly and took great care of me.

The rooms were very clean, nice furniture, check the photos. Now as a minus, the sink was kind of clogging. Another bothering thing happened at breakfast. The fruit yogurt had the " best before" date the day it was served to us. Although it didn't tasted bad (as some people didn't notice the expiration date), I don't think it is ok to serve yogurt that expires in that day, especially at a 3 star hotel. That is why I am giving it rating 3/5 although the roms and cleanliness deserve a 4/5. Overall it is a nice hotel to stay in, you will feel comfortable, you have at tv international channels like german one (RTL), spanish, etc

The hotel was comfortable and well situated. The food was good. What made our stay memorable were the staff starting from the Reception to dining room to room cleaners. The Manager of the hotel drove us to a restaurant out of town because the taxi didn’t show up. This was simply a favour.

They have wedding parties over the weekend and you can not sleep at all because of the music banging all the night, secondly TV is not working in my room, view is also terrible. Avoid this hotel because it's not supposed to be a Hotel at all. The receptionist did not change my room he told me to complain to hotel management.
