Stayed for a weekend with wife and kids, it was a very nice and relaxed hotel, Situated within a nice forest surrounding. Indoor and out door heated pools are great and spa center offers a vast variety. very big rooms, Bath and toilet were the biggest and best i have ever seen in a hotel food was just OK ,... More

Not worth the price, neither the 4 stars. Bad food, dirty pool, especially in the end of the weekend. Cold attitude from the reception stuff. No facilities or entertainment for the kids! No wi-fi in the rooms, only in the lobby. Far from the centre, but in the wood. Spa center is the only thing that deserves your attention.

This was our second visit to this place, the first one being in the middle of the last big renovation about 10 years ago. But let me start with some history (as I was told it by locals). The hotel is probably a half century old. It was built for the members of the now nonexistent Central Committee of the... More

Very disappointed with the service and food quality. Don' t bother eating anything from the restaurant- expensive but poor quality food. Definitely not a 4 star restaurant. Small renovation is needed - the hotel building and facilities are neglected. The way to the hotel is full with traps, small road signs show the direction. The town of Velingrad is not... More

Velina is a nice, tidy place with excellent location. Being in the middle of the pine woods gives you much more than relaxation and peace of mind. Really, it is so quiet that you can almost hear your thoughts. Rooms are average size, but not in the best conditions.. You can still see the signs of an old time hotel... More

All the benefits of the hotel are the same: very good location next to a pine forest and attractive trails. Large indoor pool, Jacuzzi for 8 persons, warm swimming outdoor pool - you can use it even in snowfall :) Wonderful spa, you will be served by staff who knows his job. Do not miss the sauna! This year I... More

The location of the hotel is perfect-it is surrounded by pine trees in a quiet part of Velingrad city. Well designed lobby with a nice fireplace. We booked a double lux room.Although it was not large and the furniture could be changed with newer, the room was clean. There is a big double bed, sofa,a table, small fridge,TV set. Going out to the... This is a great spa resort with an inspiring pine forest in front of the hotel. Tha spa area is clean and relaxing. The restaurant is amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful. I think that the prices are a bit too high. But all in all, a great place to stay.

After a bad experience at hotel rich spa in the town centre we decided to move to velina spa hotel. Great Service, Great Massage Services, nice big indoor and outdoor pool. Friendly and professional staff, great food, comfortable rooms with all the facilities. Looking forward to coming back next year. Highly recommended!
