Clean cozy room with a balcony and view. Within walking distance to St Elena but beware road and sidewalks are very steep and often unpaved.Breakfast was individually prepared and delicious. There were several selections. Thais at the front desk was was very pleasant and helpful with sightseeing arrangements and recommendations.

Lovely big clean modern rooms. Patchy hot water – none at all during peak shower times, but this seems to be standard in Central America. Good wi-fi. It’s in an area where there are many hotels hidden among the trees, it’s a fair walk to town – 20/30 minutes and quite steep. You can get a taxi one way for...

Stayed here as part of a group tour and made to feel very welcome by all the staff, but especially Thias. Beds comfy and fridge in room a bonus. Would recommended and there is a super market around the corner, a bakery nearby and a couple of restaurants.

What a great place to stay. We were here for 2 nights and very much enjoyed our stay. Thias was amazing..nothing was too much trouble for her and she made us very welcome. Breakfast is very good and it set us up for the day, we went to the cloud forest, did a night walk and went zip lining. All...

We stayed here during our stay in Monteverde. The hotel itself was clean and well built, one of the few places I stayed in Central America where I couldn't hear the people above me. My room was small but cosy and warm given the cold and raining weather. I had breakfast here one morning which was pricey but lovely. The...

Thais at the reception was really nice and helped us arrange all the excursions in Monteverde. Since an activity was very early, they prepared breakfast for us before the opening time. The room was really really spacious and cozy, with a balcony. The location of the hotel is optimal, 10 minutes away from town on foot.

Situated in a quite location a 15 minute walk into town and a lovely steep walk back up the hill on the way back!!! Nice spacious room and bathroom with massive shower and a nice touch with the extra thick blankets for the bed as it gets rather cold at night. The only downside was the hotel manager she was...

We spent one night there, the room was very clean, the breakfast was very good and Thais was very polite. She made good suggestions for a restaurant to go for dinner (Restaurant De Lucia) and for the hanging bridge tour.

This basic hotel was a gift after some of the other hotels we had stayed in on our tour. The hotel is run by some very attentive hosts and the produce a great breakfast made to order every morning for just $6 US. The rooms are swiss alps inspired.
