Lovely little lodge tucked up away in the mountains. Ideal for a couple of nights, not really suitable for a longer stay. Lovely staff and good food, reasonably priced drinks too. Plenty of local activities which will collect you and drop you back to the lodge. Definitely try the lodges zip wires! It's a bit of a trek to the... More

This hotel is in the midst of the cloud forest with hiking trails on the doorstep. We loved seeing the hummingbirds, coati, frogs, butterflies, and plenty more wildlife in and around the hotel grounds - fantastic to watch the hummingbirds at the feeders as you eat your breakfast. The individual lodges were comfortable and air-con and hotel TV were not... More

Unfortunately we only stayed for one night, and you probably get the best of this place over 2-3 days. The rooms are clean, comfortable and cosy, with great views out over the rainforest. Erick at the front desk took good care of us, as did the restaurant team. Having been obliged to eat (poorly) at the previous hotel, we were... More

Gustavo and Gabriel were incredible. They made my time in the dining room one of the highlights of my two week trip. Thank you! Great views out of the windows, too. Food was tasty. Exceptional coffee. Jessica was my waitress one night, and she was very kind and patient, taking time to have conversation. Thank you! Rooms were very clean.... More

We really enjoyed our one night stay. The rooms are little cabins, our was steps away from the forest. It was a wonderful experience to sit outside on our patio and just watch and listen to the wildlife. The room was nice and spacious. Breakfast was included and was plentiful and delicious. Dinner was also quite good. We walked one... More

There are not too many amenities in the room, but there was nothing wrong with that. The rooms are actually quite spacious and clean. It's in a gorgeous location in Monteverde, the views are fantastic, service is good. The trail hikes are a nice little bonus. We saw several monkeys around the river trail It is in a pretty secluded... More

We stayed 3 nights in this lodge. It is a little way out of town up a very bumpy track, but this is the reason to stay here. It is on the edge of the forest and excellent for wildlife spotting, howler and white faced monkeys, humming birds, coti mundi, hawks and tarantulas are just a few of the visitors... More

The attached cabins don't look like much but they are just perfect and beautiful on the inside. We felt like we were in a ski lodge. Animal sightings everywhere- humming birds, monkeys, coati, and tons more. Food was excellent. Canopy tour was one of our favorite activities of the entire trip and super convenient being on site. Be prepared to... More

My wife and I wanted to visit the Monteverde Cloud Forest to see the rich biodiversity of this region, while at the same time spend some relaxing time away form home. We had the pleasure of spending 3 nights in a rustic, meticulously-cared-for, extremely friendly home with nature at our front door step! The grounds around the lodge are home... More

Stayed at this lodge for 2 nights, loved the fact that there is no television in the room. They do have wifi. The rooms are rustic looking and kind of classy in its own way. Very clean and well maintained. The rooms were good size and has a beautiful patio with chairs that are absolutely enjoyable. The space outside the... More
