This was one of my favorite places that I stayed in Costa Rica. The owner, Yorle, is seriously awesome and made our experience amazing! She will tell you the good places to eat, and you can book great tours through the front office. Also, the free breakfast in the morning was fantastic!

I went to Santa Elena at a high season so I had to pay $35/night for a private room that doesn't even have a hot shower. I ended up paying C21,000 - $42 for one night equivalent because I paid with a Debit Card. The kitchen is super clean and have a lots of kitchen utensils but no much space...

Upon arrival the owner sat us down and showed us a map of the area and tried to convince us to purchase a ton of possible tours and shuttles. She was pushy in the beginning but after the first day she stopped pushing everything on us and was cool to talk to (in Spanish, her English seemed pretty bad) She...

Rooms basic but very clean, great breakfasts- lovely home made pancakes, although would have liked some other more savoury options (after a few days of so much sweet food, I started to really crave salt!). Great to be able to book tours from the b&b and very helpful owner.

Yorle the owner is about as friendly as it gets for a backpacker's hostel. Was extremely easy to book activities and Yorle was always available to guide us in the right direction. Is situated in the center of town with bars and restaurants all around the corner. Highly recommend!

We stayed here with our 2 children, room was basic but spacious & clean. Extra blankets, towels and good shower (though the earlier, the better, as it usually goes in hostels). Set up is like a motel, so (small) kitchen is the only common indoor area, but still met some other travelers. Yorle was very helpful, set us up for...

Yorle (the owner) is really nice, if you're looking to do the expected and typical adventures in Monteverde she won't disappoint. But don't expect more than that. The breakfast was amazing. Her place needs updating. For $35 there is a nice bus to Managua.

The hostel is run by very friendly women, the rooms are clean and the showers are very nice with hot water. Breakfast is included and is very tasty, very close to all shops and restaurants in centre of town.
