Great place to stay, simple accommodations, very clean and in a great location - barely a 5 min walk to town. Staff were very helpful, delicious and huge breakfast included, overall a great value! You can book tours here as well.

The room was clean and spacious. Beautiful view from the deck. Centrally located and within walking distance of town. Delicious breakfast. Free tea and coffee all day. Very helpful staff that assisted us with arranging tours.

We stayed at Camino Verde for three nights in September. It was the best hostel we stayed at on our trip. Jose was extremely helpful with booking trips and transportation. The setting was beautiful and the facilities and breakfast were on point. Would definitely recommend this hostel in Monteverde.

Jose was so helpful booking all our excursions for us at no extra cost, rooms were very clean and free daily breakfast was excellent! I would recommend this to any family travelling to Santa Elena as it very safe and close to walk to town⛰

Jose, Andres, and their crew were fantastic!! Every little detail of our stay was assisted by their genuine care and that we have the best time ever. We met wonderful people from all over the world and had no needs/wants that weren't provided. Especially when I began to have hot flashes (thought I was past this) and Jose found a...

This was our second time to Monteverde, and since the first place we stayed at was no longer a hotel, we chose Camino because of price, location and overall reviews. Well, we scored big! This little b&b is deceiving from the outside. Although still charming and quaint from the outside, we were a little concerned being so close to the...

Staying for two nights while zip lining. Lovely little place with well equipped and very clean rooms. Staff here are very helpful and really helped us out for our zip lining trip. Breakfast is great and if I were to be in the area again I wouldn't hesitate on staying here.

We spent 2 nights at Camino Verde and loved it. We were upgraded to a deluxe room on arrival and it was seriously nice (we've been traveling for most of the year, and this was luxurious). The staff were really helpful and we booked all our activities through them (they get better rates). The kitchen is awesome to cook in,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Camino Verde B&B is a "Bed and Breakfast" style lodging opened in 2009 and located on the edge of Santa Elena. The B&B is laid out in the style of a family house and guests are encouraged to treat it as their home. The building was in fact once the owner's family home which gave inspiration to this 'Tica House' designed hotel. The B&B is situated a 5 minute walk from the town centre of Santa Elena, but is far enough away for it to be quiet and have more rural surroundings. This is the perfect option for those who crave the quiet side of the countryside but who require the amenities provided in a town. FACILITIES: Camino Verde B&B comprises private rooms which sleep 2 to 4 guests. Four of the rooms have shared bathroom facilities and the rest are en suite. ... more   less
