The wooden floors can be squeky as has been indicated. One person wrote about the upstairs room with a view. We asked for this room and it was very nice. It is at the end of the hall and comes with a huge window looking out across town and up the hill towards the cloud forest. Nice! Also as stated...

Not a bad place - just lacking a few things. For instance, consistent hot water or walls that are not paper thin. It also lacks in customer service - not very friendly or helpful - I often felt I was an inconvenience to them. However, the $35 a night room, with breakfast included, I can deal with the other stuff.

I needed one night accommodation and they helped me out immediately for a price less than at a hostel. I had private room with own toilet, hot water shower, cable TV, opening window which was good as there was no air conditioning but cross breeze cooled room. No reliable WiFi anywhere in town that night but free WiFi usually available....

Found this clean, convient hotel when I got to town and could look around a bit. The rooms were totally adequate and after looking at a few hostels, I choose this hotel. It was less expensive actually than a private in a hostel. Had my own bathroom and TV. The free breakfast was very good and served in a nice...

We got lucky and got the room on the 2nd floor with a big window with a nice view. The location of this room is also quieter because it's not next to the stairs or the hang out area. The staff is really friendly and the breakfast is good!

Our room was a wooden cabin and so very noisy when it was windy and you could hear people in the rooms next door. One night I genuinely feared the roof would blow off. However I think most hostels in his town were wooden and so may also be noisy. The room was fine and had clean bedding and was...
