I've visited Monteverde last year, and stayed a few nights in Monteverde. Location is closed to centre, the atmosphere is relaxed, the host, was super friendly and made sure that all the guests had a good time . Breakfast was the best part. Fresh fruit salad, eggs and Nutella available.. For a very good price!! Costa Rica Pura Vida

The girl at the desk, Johanna, was a doll and helped us out so much! There was a restaurant down the street that was delicious and the bus station wasn't very far from the hostel. There happened to be a sloth in the back of the hostel while we were there, and it was super awesome to witness! It seems...

This was a great hostel located right by the central triangle of the city. Alonso at the front was a great host to us, keeping us engaged with stories and tips, and even offering to help us book day trips and transportation with ease. The rooms are very small, and your experience inside them definitely depends on the roommates you...

The hostel looked like it would have been wonderful. However, when we arrived, we were told that there had been a problem with our booking. Hm...we had a reservation, had paid a deposit, had a booking confirmation number, and they had all our info written down in their book...They wouldn't explain why our reservation was not okay and what this...

We stayed in a single room. Clean, cozy accommodations. The owner and his dog Bob are what makes this place unique. He went out of his way to help us with whatever we needed. Breakfast was provided in the morning. The walls are not sound proof, however, the quiet hours are enforced and we weren't bothered by noise.

Just a wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere here. Great location close to downtown Santa Elena. Hot showers and fresh breakfasts were just a bonus on top of the cozy rooms, relaxing hammocks and excellent ownership. Next time we're in CostaRica we'll make it a point to revisit this fine place!

We LOVED this place. Stayed in dorms and in private rooms and both are amazing. Everyone is so friendly and atmosphere caters to meeting people and making friends. You can book your tours from the hostel, a kitchen is available and the super market is a 30 second walk away which is so helpful because all the restaurants were fairly...
