We completely enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and spoke English. The hotel arranged great tours. Our rooms poolside were lovely and clean. We had a wonderful short walk to the beach. The food was fresh and tasty.

We stayed at the Costa Coral for 10 days and had a great time. This is the perfect hotel to stay at if you want to relax and be immersed by the natural beauty of Costa Rica. There are many natural attractions nearby (waterfalls, rivers and of course the beach) and quite a bit to do (4 wheeling, horseback riding,...

Be prepared to relax or travel for more crowded night life. What I wanted was to relax off the grid and explore nature. That is exactly what I got and when needed I used the free wifi to check in back home. The tours and excursions available in the area can be scheduled by the hotel, but you may be...

Our recent visit to Hotel Costa Coral was prompted by a Living Social purchase. We were greeted with an experience beyond our expectations and would certainly visit this charming boutique-style hotel again. The attention to detail was impressive including our suite, the restaurant and the grounds. The staff is extremely accomodating and friendly, the food excellent (easily the best we...

My husband and I visited the Costa Coral for my husbands 39th birthday this past March and were treated like absolute family. For me the pool was the highlight of the stay while my husband enjoyed the four wheeler tour and fishing. While we took this trip alone, the hotel would be perfect for a few couples with or without...

My husband and I would recommend to anyone and everyone, to check out Tambor Costa Rica and while there there is no where to stay except Hotel Costa Coral. Everyone treated us as family, the entire staff was so friendly, thoughtful and unforgetable. A small hotel, at times we felt as if we were the only ones in ALL of...

Having a long and cold Montana winter we had to get away. Looking on line, the Costa Coral came up with some very good comments. After some research Tambor sounded just what we were looking for, and booked 8 nights. We can't say enough good things about the whole staff who treated us like family. The food was excellent(didn't think...

I stayed in Costa Coral during the last week of december. The service was excellent, and the attention was great, and the rooms were OK. A bit overpriced because this is not a boutique hotel. The shower was a bit poor, and with low pressure. The swimming pool is the best part of the hotel, although since its located right...

The Costa Coral is a jewel! The service is extraordinary. This doesn't happen without a dedicated team. Congratulations! The rooms were clean and fresh. The food was marvelous. The pool and relaxation area was wonderful. All of the staff made us feel special, as well as right-at-home. It was a remarkable experience.
