Very basic accommodation with no restaurant facilities. That being said, if you are willing to drive over a very rough road for about 7 miles, the beach you get to say at is breath taking. We arrived after dark and questioned if we were in the right place as we seemed to drive forever to find the hotel. There were...

This hotel was such a great choice for our family. We rented the larger house and could keep an eye on our 4 boys but still have our separate room. Having a kitchen made breakfasts and some late dinner very convenient. Comfort is basic but the house was clean and functional. Towels and beach towels were provided and the house...

This hotel is such a great choice for your visit to Costa Rica! The location is fantastic for an isolated stay in which you can experience the true beauty of Costa Rica, as well as the people that run the hotel, who will provide you with anything you may need, and will connect you to the most amazing tours, hikes,...

Great place to rest from the noisy and busy New York City. Sun, beach, sand, sky.... All you need for rest and peace. The beach area is very clean, no strangers at the hotel area. Marina is best owner who helps her guests with all their needs.

We visited as a family of 4 and stayed in the larger house. The property and the beach is amazing. Nothing beats taking 3-4 dogs to the river estuary in the morning! Nobody on the beach at all, sunsets to die for and lots of little places to relax on the property. It is very suitable for people looking for...

We stayed only one, very last night on our trip to Costa Rica and regretted not having more. Really peaceful place, hostess Marina is so welcoming. And the ocean - it is just magnificent at this place! If we had a chance, we would come back! audrone

My husband and I stayed at Tranquilidad for 2 nights. We loved it here! Marina was amazing and offered to pick us up from the Parrita Bus station and drive us to the hotel. IT was really nice of her to offer as it saved us some money. We bought grocery before we went to the hotel and really enjoyed...

Like the other reviews say it seems like you'll never get there and it is a dirt road but when you arrive it really is a gem. We stayed in the house which was excellent. Viktor and Marina were super nice and helpful but the caretaker, Dennis is golden. He was very helpful and accommodating. You have a private black...

We stayed there 6 nights. It is a very beautiful location. Being at the beach for the sunset is highly recommended. My mom stayed with us and it was great for her with not so great knees as there are few stairs on the property (only a couple up to the pool and a ladder in/out of the pool). Victor,...

“Cabanas are more central to the property and face the pool. If the rooms are full, you might want to stay further from the kitchen to avoid TV/guest noise. The house faces the back garden and the kitchen there gets quite hot. But you will have lots of privacy and room to spread out.”
