We stayed at Clandestino Beach Resort from Jan 27 to Feb 2. I was a little apprehensive going to a resort that was not all inclusive. The location is remote, but that's what makes it so amazing. We had the beach to ourselves most days and when we saw others on the beach they where not close by. The pool...

We stayed at Clandestino for three nights and I wished we had stayed longer. The location is just amazing and one morning I went for an hour long beach run and saw nobody. It was sort of an experience that I had dreamed about for our Costa Rica trip. The hotel has a really cool pool that is designed to...

My girlfriend and I arrived here a little sceptical because (to cut a long story short) booking our room here had been a bit more cumbersome than we liked (especially for newyear's eve). But apart from that, we have nothing but praise for the Clandestino: we enjoyed a fabulous room and bathroom ("Queen" type in our case), a lovely pool,...

This is our second time in Costa RIca and our second time at the Clandestino. We love this place. It is so peaceful, and absolutely beautiful. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The food is delicious, the pool is heated and the beach is unbelievable. My 9 and 12 years old had a blast boogie boarding on this incredible...

My husband and I recently traveled to the Clandestino for our honeymoon from Christmas Day to New Year's Day. We loved that the Clandestino was in a quiet area on the beach not surrounded by tons of resorts, and tourists, yet it was a short drive(30 min) to get to Quepos where we could find some of the tourist activities,...

When we first arrived we were a little unsure, this is a really small resort with reception being a little room off the restaurant and its about 15 minutes drive down a little road so we did question our choice. However, the minute we walked into our room we couldn't have been happier. We had a room right near the...

A surprising out of the way resort with all the amenities you need: lovely cabinas, bar y restaurant, and an absolutely beautiful beach! Because it is out of the way, you need a car or rent a driver to get into the small town. They have bicycles to rent a couple of doors down which can get you to town...

After 4 days of tours and getting up early and learning too many things, we headed to Playa Seco to do NOTHING. And we did! The rooms are beautiful, most do not face the sea. If you want to face the sea call and ask them for one of those rooms. FOOD: GREAT! Really nice menu with many options. However,...

My family stayed here in early December 2014 for two nights and have a fabulous time. Earlier in the trip we had been hiking and doing more outdoor activities up north, so we were really happy to get somewhere for rest and relaxation. This place was perfect for that. The pool area and restaurant are gorgeous and the beach is...

Beautiful setting, good service, tropical rooms...steps from the beach. would recommend for a getaway. There isn't much around the area so you would need a car to go into town. The restaurant had delicious food. We love it.
