The drive from Jaco beach to Hotel Paraiso was an adventure. We were very thankful it was not the rainy season.
The young woman at the reception was adorable, her English was as bad as my Spanish but we did pretty well communicating that we...More
The only reason why my review is not a 5-star one is because of the hotel's location. There's a log dirt road to get from Parrita to the hotel.
Aside from that, everything was great inside the hotel. You're welcomed by friendly staff, room was...More
Beware of your stay at the Hotel Paraiso Carlisa, it is in the middle of no mans land with the Boa snakes running free as well as the flying ants in your room. When you inform the management, their solution is to sweep the room...More

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
Hi, Saw your review of Hotel Paraiso Carlisa - we are going (family of 4, 2 boys aged 8 and 10). Is there anything else you can tell us about this hotel? Some have complained about ants. Did you have a lot of bugs in your room? I don't mind a few.
We are looking for a few nights in nature - how many nights would you recommend?

Greetings, from paradise carlisa, that invasion of ants happens once, every 5 years and unfortunately the host does not communicate it to us, since we would have changed it immediately for another room, we are in the middle of nature, you can see animals in the center Of rescue that is subencionado with part of the stay of our guests, and all type of fauna in freedom. In H. villas paraiso carlisa we have family villas with kitchenette, so that you can make a comfortable stay with children
