This is a very good small hotel providing a taste of France in Costa Rica. I can highly recommend it as a base for visiting the area from Jaco to Quepos. The hotel is clean, beautifully furnished and decorated. The service is excellent and breakfast and optional dinners are very well chosen, cooked and presented by a French chef. The...

I had been told of this well kept secret, and the many accolades were fully justified. While operating like a well oiled machine, the ambience remains serene and restful. The property is impeccably maintained and the piece de resistance, is Bernard's superb culinary skills. He effortlessly prepares the meals which are both incredibly sumptuous and presented beautifully.

The only complaint I have about our stay at this pretty little hotel is that we only stayed 1 night there! It is secluded amongst the mangroves and across from the Pacific (and a long sandy beach), with a very nice pool area and dining area. The rooms are quirky and pretty and very comfortable. Loved the fish motif decorating...

This is a very charming place. Very quiet, very clean, steps from a secluded beach, fantastic place to relax. There is a nice swimming pool on the property and a beautiful, very well kept garden. Rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. The hosts, a French couple, are very helpful and accommodating and went out of their way to make...

We spent 2 nights in this very charming place. You feel like Robinson on the Palo Seco beach: kilometers of fine sand and warm water just for you (no guard for swimming) with awesome sunset. We also enjoyed the refreshing swimming pool and the delicate dinner. And the bread!!! We got very good recommendation for visiting the Manuel Antonio park...

This small hotel is about a 10 minute drive on a dirt road from a small village. The sea shore is beautiful and deserted, but the ocean is not swimmable: as we were warned by the landlady multiple times. Our room was nice and cute, very clean but quite small with no closet space or dressers.. Not hot water, basically...

This hotel is a hidden gem. 5 km from the road. Oceanfront hotel, very peaceful with nice pool area. Very friendly french owners. Beatiful rooms, very clean. Very small breakfast, just toasts and jam. There is only one thing - too much rules everywhere ;)

This Bed and Breakfast is off the beaten path. We were hoping it would be closer to Manuel Antonio, but if you just want to get away from it all, this is definitely the place. It is about a 45 minute drive to M.A, so plan accordingly. Beso del Viento has a continental breakfast consisting of fruit and french bread...
