Villa Gaetano - Melani and Chrishan's Home located in the village of Atharagoda, Unawatuna in a fully natural setup in mangroves.We have three large separate rooms ach with balconies, each with attached bathrooms & a refrigerator. All bedrooms are furnished. Melani and Chrishan's Home offers 1 free shuttle service per day to beach at your command. Rare facilities like free cookery class& kitchen facilities also are available on request.Other services: Swimming pool - (10meters long), Internet, frees bicycle, Library, Ayurvedic therapy and yoga, 24 hour safety guaranteed service, spacious garden for playing Laundry service, Airport pickup and Sight-seeing.
When you are coming to villa gaetano please turn to Heenatigala Road from near the Post Office and turn again from Mangrove Road and come until you find Aturvedic Village Garden then pass the biggest bridge and left side with a green gate is Villa-Gaetano as we are new and a little place there is a little board with ''Melani+Crishan's Home'' Thank you!

We’ve been traveling in Sri Lanka for the past month and no accommodation is comparable to the experience we’ve had at Villa Gaetano. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Melani and Chrishan. We were offered cold towels, a drink and a snack. Such a great welcome! The room is big, well maintained and fully stocked (towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, coffee, tea, water bottles, etc.). It is also sparkling clean! The AC works perfectly and there’s hot water running all the time. They also clean the rooms and restock regularly which is an added bonus! The breakfasts are big, delicious and varied. We also order lunch one day and it was some of the best food we’ve had in Sri Lanka! We highly recommend you grab lunch or dinner there at least once. They offer one free tuk tuk ride a ride to Unawatuna Beach ... another example of how their customer service is on top of their game. They’re always enquiring to know if we need something or how they can make our stay more pleasurable. The Villa is located about 5 minutes off the main road which is perfect for quiet nights. As for the pool, it’s a great addition. All in all, it’s a great experience staying at Villa Gaetano. If you’re in Unawatuna, this is definitely the place to stay. Chrishan, Melani and her father go above and beyond to make sure all our needs are met. They are a great family and we can’t thank them enough. …

Currently staying in Villa Gaetano this place is amazing.. Situated a short distance inland the location is perfect.. The family offer a complimentary tuk tuk service to Unawatuna and it is only 300 rps to get back.. The family who own the villa are lovely people and cannot help with your needs enough.. Food is delicious ( they even let my wife watch as part of a cooking demo) and delivered to your table outside your room.. I asked for a Scooter so we could get around.. They organised it.. In fact nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in the deluxe room option and it was ideal.. Please if you are looking to enhance your Sri Lankan experience give this place a visit you will not be disappointed.. We were only staying for 2 nights originally but extended as we are enjoying it so much.. Well done to the owners if I could give it more than 5 stars I would.. …

This is a lovely hotel hidden away in unawatuna. It is about 10 minute drive to the beach. The hotel provides one free tuc tuc ride a day to the beach which is really handy. The hotel has everything you need, rooms are basic but such good value for money. Hot shower, kettle, sitting area, good air con, fan, pool. The staff cannot do enough for you. Food is really good all cooked fresh to order. The grounds are so chilled out and peaceful. They have 3 dogs which are really cute and friendly. Would 100% recommend amazing value for money.

The most precious thing in Gaetano Villa is the people. Cristian and his family are ready to do absolutely everything for your comfort and good mood. They are so kind, polite, hospitable and smiling people! When they got known about my birthday, they did the cake and congratulated me together with the whole family. This was so cute! The accommodation itself is very clean with everything you may need. The breakfasts are huge and different every day. The garden is beautiful with many trees, flowers and animals. The pool is also good. Highly recommended for everyone!

This property spans vast grounds of beautiful palm trees, fruit trees and a beautiful swimming pool. You have to visit to see the grounds that are so well maintained it is like being a private retreat. The lodging is run by a delightful family that are incredibly hospitable and will do everything they can to ensure you have a comfortable stay. They arrange a complimentary tuk tuk to the beach each day which only takes a few minutes. They help arrange tours, massages and cook phenomenal meals. The rooms have a new feel to them and are spotless - very clean and spacious! We extended our stay due to the beauty of this place!
