Our bungalow was immaculate, the view was amazing, and the food... oh my! Home-cooked Italian. The hosts offer safari tours as well, and if they are not your guides, they can also recommend other reputable guides for the park. They were very hospitable and helpful. I would recommend this camp to anyone visiting Murcheson Falls or the surrounding area.

I have been traveling to Uganda for the past 6 years and about three years ago I found this amazing gem. The owner is incredible and his staff is the best around. This little ego village has everything we need while we are there and it is simply majestic overlooking the Nile River. The food is on a whole new...

Real coffee, lots of hot water for morning showers, fresh salads and vegetables and a comfortable bed. For a good work stay (after a week in local hotels with none of the above) it was bliss. But the other features - the view, the 47 bird species counted between my cottage and the main building, the welcoming and friendly staff...

Easy to get to & close to the tanga gate entrance of murchison. Ice in my gin & tonics, delightful food, comfy bed & large room made this an enjoyable night. Friendly & helpful staff. I would highly recommend Bwana Tembo.

Wonderful experience! Had a group of 10. Food was fantastic. Homemade Italian food. Huts were very nice and had fans. Will stay again when I am back in that part of Uganda. The vehicle for the safari was very comfortable. Loved that our whole group could ride in one vehicle and it was open on all sides. Recommend them for...

Some of the most amazing and genuine people work at this quaint Safari Camp. They will be great friends of yours and have some of the best food that I have ever tasted. The lodging was definitely comfortable with lots of hot water and air. The view from the lodge is absolutely breathtaking, a great view of the Nile River....

Just a very few kilometres from the Merchison Falls National Park this lodge is worth a visit. We spent a night there after our game drive. We stayed in a Safari tent which was very comfortable with electricity and lots of hot water. The camp is on a hill so there were plenty of cooling breezes and it is very...

A family run business in a great location (just a few km out of the park gate) on the side where the game is. It is not unusual to see elephants and antelopes already on before the entrance. Food was great (mainly italian cuisine with a daily fixed Menu) and staffs cordial. Drinks cold and showers had warm water. Rooms...

With friendly staff, amazing home made pasta and breath taking views, Bwana Tembo lodge is a revelation. The tents are comfortable, spotlessly clean, spacious and have everything you could ever need. The bathrooms in particular are excellent. They have space to burn and amazing showers. Just what you need after a day in the park. Davide, Francesco and their wonderful...

We stayed at Bwana Tembo for 4 nights. The game drive with Davide was phantastic. The gate is only 10 minutes drive away. The staff is very kind and helpful, the even organize a driver for our trip to Fort Portal. The tents are comfortable and romantic. At night it cools down. The restaurant area is very cozy. The italian...
