My wife and I stayed here during our Uganda road-trip for a few nights and it was truly amazing! Murchison Falls NP is stunning, and this lodge is in the perfect location for any visitor to the park. The food/menu is unique, beautiful rooms/concept and...More
We stayed in the Hotel's Safari tents. it was not the first time in a safari tent and it was the smallest one. Also it was extremely hot in the tent even though the outside was pretty cool.
The hotel itself is really beautiful, the...More
Went here as the far superior Red Chili site was fully booked. This place was near enough to the safari park so was good for going on safari but it's let down by the food costs etc. Very expensive by Ugandan standards.

Thank you very much for your feedback. We do appreciate clients' comments but have to admit, we somehow feel confused as this rather seems like a promotion stunt for Red Chili (where you stayed 2 years ago) in stead of a balanced review...More
Stayed two nights and loved the location and room size. We knew in advance this was an eco lodge and were ok with electricity to only be on in the evenings from 630pm but is it really necessary for the fan to automatically switch off...More
Fort Murchison is designed to look like the forts of Emin Pasha etc. Its a cool concept, and the location, on the edge of the Nile, is great. However, the place is not well run. The electricity is only switched on from 6pm (more like...More

Sorry for the late response, gate fares you will use Tangi Gate on the Arua road, and each 24hours is $40 per person and it would be better to either hire a car from Kampala or when you reach Fort Murchison lodge there are cars in Pakwach with the near by lodges. Because of being a tourist area, the prices are in dollars like $100 per day but car entrance to the park is about $10. You will need a tour car with a pop up roof for standing and you view the animals well as well as photography. If you are using a bus, they charge about $20 but you will still need to hire a vehicle while in Murchison falls park. Please I hope this helps and you can contact for more help

Park fees are valid for 24 hours. It does not matter how many times a day you enter. So if you enter today 18.00 you have up to tomorrow 18.00. We are indeed outside the park so you might save park fees depending on your itinerary. To my knowledge park fees are 40 USD pp for foreign non residents. Kindly google UWA (uganda Wildlife Authority) for the exact rates.
