A wonderful place in the rain forest, very peaceful, the only sounds come from the animals in the forest. The perfect place to go for Chimpanzee trekking. They are so close you can hear them calling. The rooms are spacious, very clean and have a good mattress. It is an Eco Lodge so hot water, power and Wifi are limited...

I stayed in a cabin that has a spacious room, shower and a flash toilet. The room is very clean and it has nice vibe as all material is wood and the forest is immediately behind the cabin. The shower did not have hot water but you don't actually need it as the weather is so humid and hot anyway....

After a long exhausting day of getting to their location in Budongo Forest via public transportation, I arrived at the lodge, which was beautiful, well-maintained, and isolated (in the best way!). I was very impressed by the lovely staff (especially Cooli, Habib,Jerris, and Eric, the manager!), who were some of the warmest and most welcoming people I've encountered on my...

I stayed for three nights at this lodge and loved every minute. The setting is perfect, right in the most beautiful indigenous forest, with the cabins spread out so everyone had their own little portion of paradise. The staff are very focused on your welfare, especially Kule, who was such a warm and friendly host. The meals were great and...

Buried in the Budongo rain forest, under the canopy of trees it was such a wonderful experience to have stayed here - so atmospheric. All the little paths which disappeared into the forest led to different cabins which were well spaced out and well hidden in the trees. Our cabin was very spacious with room to hang clothes in a...

We stayed here in order to participate in a birding walk and were very happy with the results. Our birding guide was James and he was extremely knowledgeable, especially on the subject of bird calls. The lodge was a lot of fun. We enjoyed talking to other travelers and the food was very good and included vegetarian options (yay!) Service...

This is a very welcoming rustic lodge. The lodge cabins are beautifully sited in the forest and well appointed. It does have eco toilets, which some people have complained about, but you are in the middle of the forest so get over it, they work well and they are self contained. Just being on the forest is delightful; as we...

A wonderful place to stay. We spent Christmas morning walking through the jungle with an excellent guide, and got good views of chimpanzees. The guide pointed out other wildlife as well and was very knowledgeable.

Stayed in the dorms for a night. They were very comfortable ! Not much water for showers etc but that's not their fault. Very very nice breakfast! Great bar area. I loved that the staff were so well dressed and trained. Well above the norm for Africa !

Hello James H Welcome back from the budongo forest! We are so happy you enjoyed your stay so much. Great food and cold beer, we saw wild Chimpanzees not 400m from the lodge. Chimpanzee walk from here was mind blowingly good and the guides excellent. Our room was unreal, large full eco-facilities and nice hot water.
