We are on a working farm just outside Dundee, right at the heart of the Anglo-Boer War and Anglo-Zulu War Battlefields - names like Rourke's Drift, Fugitive's Drift, Isandlwana and Blood River ring out from glorious and historic pasts. But that is only the beginning - like the Voortrekkers and the British, we want you to fall under the spell of our region. "the land of milk and honey." Enjoy the luxury and experience the heartbeat of the people.Children are welcome at our accommodation. There is alot to do to keep busy and then you can relax before an evening meal, planned and cooked by Salome', who's very passionate about food.

We apologise that having no power for over 3 days made finding your booking slightly more challenging. We are happy that you enjoyed the food which Salomé prepared and Dirk's cheerfulness. We all have our part that makes our guesthouse, our home, somewhere people enjoy to stay. Sadly the way we run it won't satisfy everyone.

This the fourth time I have stayed at Lennox Cottage and once again I was not disappointed. It never ceases to amaze me at the stand of accommodation, service and food. In my party of 5, there were 3 'newbies' to South Africa and they all commented how wonderful everything was.

This is absolutly amazing. Brilliant people, great food and overall good experience. I would recommend it to anyone who likes a warm farm feeling. To add to the package, the coffee is great too. The rooms are very well equiped and spacious, cosy and comfortable.

We stayed one night at this guest house with our 5 and 8 year old. We were made to feel very welcome. The dinner was amazing. For the kids they made a great healthy simple meal. Perfect. They also managed my sons dairy allergy. Breakfast was the best we had on our full trip.
