    Wonderful stay at the rainforest lodge!!! We had walks everyday and night. My highlight was the canopy walk. Highly recommend if you go to visit Borneo and its wildlife. Food was great and the rooms very comfortable.

    Sukau lodge was fine for the 20th century but the lodge here in the Danum valley is up to 21st cent. standards. That said, it lacks some of the more rustic charm of the former. Great access to jungle trails, varied wildlife to spot day...More

    Terrified of leeches. That's what I am. So of course I ensured I had my leech socks packed and salt and lemongrass essential that I used as my insect repellent. I got bitten anyhow - but at least I got a cert out of it....More

    We also used selective asia, they are very good. Can’t post links here but just google ‘selective asia’ and they should come up.

    No you will need to carry your own. The climate is high humidity so carrying water is a MUST esp if you do the climb to the lookout, which is uphill and arduous in the heat.
