If you find yourself in Terre-de-Haut, you may already be as close to Heaven as you're likely to get in this life. But if you're lucky enough to stay at Lô Bleu Hôtel, you'll be just a little bit closer. The hotel sits right on the beach where small fishing boats are moored just offshore and pelicans splash into the...

Doesn't look that good from the street but as you go on through the building you realise that the bar opens onto a room that opens onto the beach. This is what the Caribbean is all about. Sand, sun, sea and relaxation. This place is very French and that means the service is good and you get what you want...

Great location on the water. A little walk from the ferry but well worth it. A fantastic couple running the place who speak French and English, they were incredibly kind and welcoming. It was a great room, and even the street view room we had also had a side view of the ocean. It was great relaxing on the beach...

We di not stay here but had a drink in their café one day. The hotel is right on the beach and we found the staff friendly. The views are great. We sat on the beach for a couple hours and really enjoyed a relaxing afternoon.

This is one of those reviews you almost don't want to write so that not too many people find out about this treasure. After spending a day on the island some years ago, we wanted to come back and spend more time. Veronique and Stephan helped make the trip perfect, offering up not only a clean, bright and comfortable room...

We only had four nights in this lovely hotel and wish we had allocated at least three more. Stephan and Veronique are very special people and were so accommodating and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast, the room and the special location. Terre de Haut is one of those places that you never want to leave and as soon as you...

We spent a very pleasant few days at Lo Bleu in February. The hotel is charming; we had a lovely light room with colourful and exotic murals on the walls - we loved it! Breakfast was good: fresh fruit and lovely pastries, served on a nice terrace overlooking the beach. The new owners Veronique and Stephan, were very helpful -...

This very pleasant hotel is a 10 minute walk from the ferry and easy to find. We were met with a very warm welcome even though we were 4 hours early for check in due to ferry crossing times. But we put our bags in a secure luggage room and were able to use the hotel and it's facilities freely....

spotlessly clean. good value. great breakfast. lovely owners and front desk staff. great location. not easy to get to the Ile de Saintes. listing Ile des Saintes as "Guadeloupe" is misleading. some really good ( for a very small island ) restaurants nearby. you can watch an elderly lady hand feed about 30 wild pelicans with small fish on the...
