We pre-booked our stay in Newtonmore well in advance and couldn't be happier with our choice. Warm welcome by Jacquie, large spacious room, beautiful decor, most comfortable bed and many little additions to the room which made our stay even more special. The whole Guest House is impeccably clean. Breakfast deserves a special mention - without exaggeration it was the...

Little lambs playing in the field, rooster pheasants cackling, rabbits running all over and the peaceful backdrop of the Cairngorm in the background. Sounds like a picture and this place is exactly that and more. Jacquie is an exceptional hostess there when you need her, but, never to much. The house is absolutely stunning and the rooms are fantastic. This...

This just the nicest B&B and everything is perfect! Wonderful to return as such a favourite of ours and in the most scenic area with masses of interesting things to do and visit as so near Aviemore. The internal décor of this large house has been so tastefully restored. We had a magnificent four poster bedroom for two nights. It...

We were going up to Wester Ross and needed somewhere to stop over on way up from Edinburgh. Booked this place last minute as it was middle distance. It was absolutely fabulous! If we had not been going further up we would have stayed longer. Owners really nice, room was spotless, breakfast to die for. I was seriously impressed.

We stayed here during a trip over the new year period and we couldn't have been happier with absolutely everything! My partner booked this place as he was going to propose to me on this trip, they helped him no end with ideas for romantic locations, told him the best restaurants. They gave us a lift to and from the...

I stumbled across this treasure! I had looked at several other places, they were nice, but this place blew them out the water! From the moment we arrived, till the sad time we had to leave, the experience was amazing. we could not believe it! We had the Four poster room, which was massive and has every comfort you could...

My husband and I stayed here recently. We had a lovely stay. Our room was very spacious, comfortable and absolutely spotless. The owners went out of their way to make us feel at home. The breakfast was exceptional. It set us up for the day. A,axing choice. The view from our room was stunning, of the Cairngorms on a sunny...

This is a beautiful house with stunning views. It achieves a high standard throughout and the breakfasts are particularly special including fruit arrangements and home baked pastries etc. There are lots of good things to say about the house and host Jaquie's attention to detail. The one aspect which could be better is the shower - it was ok but...

Warmly greeted by Jacquie - her bubbling personality - nothing too much trouble. Beautiful double-storey house in rural setting with attention to detail throughout. Bedroom was spacious, clean and comfortable with modern en-suite bathroom. Loved the decor - matching floral fabric for bedding and curtains. Appreciated the tin of biscuits and ample supply of beverages in the room. Lovely views...
