My girlfriend treated me to the zip lining near Aviemore / Kingussie and we wanted to find a good and affordable place to stay and we opted to stay at the Coig Na Shee, when we arrived it is exactly how you expect from the pictures, well maintained and tidy. We got greeted from Marion and Graeme and shown to... More

We couldn't have been more impressed with Marion's hospitality and the beautiful and comfortable B&B. While an historic old home, Marion and her husband have transformed it into a top notch inn with all the comforts of home. Extremely clean, every detail is lovingly thought through, from crisp linens on a comfy bed, to roomy and updated baths with great... More

We stayed at Coig Na Shee for two nights as part of our tour of Scotland. We booked our stay based on the reviews that we had read and were looking forward to seeing for ourselves. I can honestly say that we were not disappointed. The house is in a lovely setting, on the edge of the village. Within easy... More

Short version: Clean everything, good breakfast, kind hosts. We had a beautiful stay here. Our hosts were among the warmer we’ve met during our tour of Scotland. The house is truly beautiful and well positioned for those that want to travel within the Cairngorms park (which is exactly what we did). We think it offers one of the better guest... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night while travelling up to Skye for a holiday. On arrival we were warmly welcolmed by Marion and showed to our small but perfectly formed bedroom. It was very pleasantly decorated and clean with a tray of numerous beverages and nice biscuits for your pleasure. The bathroom was en-suite and quite small... More

We spent 1 night at this lovely B&B as we wanted to visit the Highland Folk Museum. What a beautiful house Marion, Graeme and Fraser have. We were in the Firs a very large room with comfy king size bed and large en suite bathroom with walk in shower. I particularly liked the bath facing the window so you could... More

Coig na Shee is probably the best guest house I have ever stayed in (we usually stay in hotels). We are used to staying in high-class hotels and lodges in Asia and Australasia – Coig na Shee is up there with them. The property is well situated within ten minutes' walk from Newtonmore and is immaculate. The rooms are beautifully... More
