The hotel is in a stunning location overlooking the sea , the hotel has been refurbished and is very comfortable , food and drink is reasonable , however the customer service is poor with the exception of reception. A very long wait for the evening meal even though the table had been booked in advance . Drink orders forgotten ,...

My partner and I booked a room as part of a family occasion. We arrived late evening and were made to wait nearly 15 minutes before someone attended the check-in desk. Once we made it to our room we found a pleasant, clean room, with some nice touches. However: a small notice on the TV telling us not to turn...

We stayed here Sunday to Monday in July. Check in was easy and quick. Room 204 was allocated. Room spotlessly clean but like an oven as only 2 very small windows with the very small top part that opened. A fan was already installed so they knew the room was hot. Thank goodness it wasn't one of the hottest days...

I stayed in Room 101: how appropriate given that the bed and mattress should be disposed of forever. I cannot stress just how wonderful the location of this hotel is. And the restaurant is priced well for large-portion hearty food as are drinks (including wine). However, the staff are totally unpredictable - e.g. a surly, almost rude manager and untrained...

Great first impression, lovely location and friendly helpful receptionist. Unfortunately this all went rapidly downhill! We were a group of friends all meeting up to celebrate our friends (who now lives in Thailand, 60th birthday), only the second time we have managed to get together in forty years, others had also travelled a long way including America, so this was...

Apart from a lovely receptionist who was friendly and helpful, the staff were dreadful. We were a party of 7 (aged 60+) who were all staying at the hotel, we had a dinner reservation for 8pm and the first thing we were told as we sat down was that there was an hour wait for food. Our starters arrived after...

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary as our usual was booked up. When we arrived there was no one at reception so a barman went to find her. A few minutes later she turned up and raced through instructions then disappeared . We found our room which are good sizes but our view overlooked the kitchens or...

Came yesterday for the first time. No problems at all. Friendly staff, quick service, food was absolutely delicious, was clean and spacious and the prices are worth sit for the quality of the food and the portion sizes. Good varied menu. Will definitely be back here again :)

This was our first stay since the hotel was refitted and renamed, and we were certainly not disappointed. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere, with overall good service, the food and bar are good and the location is splendid. Add in sea views, a stones throw from the beach, and dog friendly, we would certainly return and would recommend.
