A superb welcome at Ye Old Ferrie. Attentive to my needs and service that was always with a smile. The room was delightful with views of the river. The bathroom was a tad small but adequate for my needs. The evening meal was very tasty and the log burner added to the atmosphere. The breakfast choice was extensive and very...

Second visit and certainly not our last. V homely pub in a lovely riverside location on the quiet (East) side of the river which suited us. (Symonds Yat West has 2 hotels, a pub, a cafe, and too many (other) tourists!) Lovely room overlooking the river ; excellent breakfasts, and we haven't bothered dining anywhere else because the food is...

Stayed overnight for an 'away from it all' break. The initial impressions of the hotel were dampened by the weather... which made everything look a little brown (especially the river). The room was much smaller than expected but it did have a great view and had all the essential items, including tea and coffee making facilities. Although it felt cramped...

An old and quirky building with bags of character. The food drink and atmosphere were first class as was the service. A great team who cant do enough for you. We stopped in the forester room it was clean with lots of hot water and a good radiator. Only deducted a star as the bed needs new pillows badly (...

A large group of us hired the bunkhouse and a room at the B&B for the weekend for a birthday celebration. We had a wonderful time, the food, drink, accommodation and location were great. I couldn't fault it. Jamie was so helpful and generous - thanks Jamie you made our weekend very special!

Can't fault this place. We had a large group staying in the bunkhouse. The staff, particularly Jamie, couldn't do enough for us and made the whole weekend so special. All the food was excellent, and reasonably priced. Location is just glorious, I'd imagine it's the place to be in summer. Some nice beers and ciders. Generally just an awesome place!

Lovely setting, great views from bedroom and outside seating area. Good food, could do with a few more options on the menu though. Better than expected weather helped us enjoy the inn and the surrounding area.

Had a very pleasant stay, the room looked out on to the river which was perfect. The food was very good from a limited menu. The breakfast was excellent. The inn is ideally located to investigate the area with some good walks. The inn has a good atmosphere and would definitely stay again.

We were impressed by the reviews of this B&B, and in many ways it lived up to expectations. However, it has its flaws. First, the pluses. The position is idyllic. The bar and all the bedrooms look out over the river. The bar is cosy and comfortable, with good beer. The breakfasts are very good, including good coffee. The bedlinen...
