It was just as we imagined. We flew out with family and friends to this amazingly located hotel and had our wedding ceremony and dinner there. We were delighted with the whole setting and options available. Views of this hotel are stunning and we were...More
We stayed here for a week at the beginning of October (2017) on an all inclusive deal. We booked a suite, but actually the bedroom was big enough and didn't really need the extra space. The décor and fittings in the room were very tired...More
Enjoyed our escape to Alvor, we have been to Alvor loads of times, and stayed in the Pestana group of hotels every time. The Delfim is a little tired, and the room was clean but worn. The food was basic, but we could usually find...More
Stayed here in June 2017 for a week with a friend all inclusive. We are 2 single ladies in our 40's. My first impressions of the hotel was that it could be absolutely stunning if it was given some TLC and a face lift. As...More

We travelled with our 1 year old last year so i’m not sure about entertainment for a teenager. We’d never been all inclusive before so I wasn’t sure what to expect food or drink wise. We never starved, we always found something to eat but it wasn’t a great standard. The drinks were passable but not great. The pool isn’t heated so it was freezing! Our room was a little bit tired but was really big and suited us fine, no real complaints there.
All in all, this Pestana wasn’t half as nice as the Pestana Don Joao just along the road that we have stayed in previously. When we were there it seemed like management were meeting and touring the grounds which made me think they might be due to upgrade it - it might be worth checking this before you make any decisions about switching hotel.
All in all, the bad attitudes of the other travellers were far more disappointing than the hotel itself.

So the hotel is dated. It has a pool table tennis courts literally 3 minuets walk to the beach absolutely no queuing for sunbeds as they have that many! Food caters for everyone chicken fish pizza pasta etc.. drinks well it depends what you want they again cater for everyone and slush drinks, bottled water, super boc taps all over. Honest it may be dated but I like bed every minute of being here I’ve been to Portugal for the last 25 years and this is the best holiday I had xxxx
