Geiranger is a tiny cruise port town - beautiful location, but not much to do in the "town". Hotels are limited and spread uphill so once park, you won't be walking around between "town" and hotel much. So, Hotel Union has all you need - a great dinner buffet (one of the better cold seafood spreads we had on our...

Definitely invest in a Fjord view room- after all that's what you came to see! Dinner buffet was far better quality than breakfast. Breakfast really was sub standard. Be prepared for the bus tours!!! They get the numbers through the hotel. Service at the bar was lacking. I waited and rang the bell and gave up!

The hotel is situated above the town so it is a half hour walk to the water if that is important to you. But the upside is the views from the hotel. The pool and spa are world class. We drove to the hotel after having visited Dalsnibba and it is easy to find as it is directly on the...

Fantastic hotel! Great facilities and good service. We had a large room overlooking the fjord and it was very clean and very comfortable. Kids loved the breakfast the children's pool and the outside pool and there is also a soft play area for rainy days. Perfect for families or couples. Excellent!

This is a nice hotel. The bedrooms are quite outdated and the hotel had a bad odour when we first entered. But great views from the room. The swimming pool downstairs was quite enjoyable, however the outdoor pool could have been a bit warmer (it was more like a warm pool than a hottub) but we liked the specialty massage...

A friend and I had a nice stay there recently. The hotel has a great location overlooking Geiranger fjord and next to a waterfall. Our room did not overlook the fjord but we still had a nice view of the mountains. Breakfast buffet was good, with lots of options. We had dinner at the bar, which was pretty good. Room...

In Geiranger for a day whilst on a Fjordland cruise. Walked up by the waterfall and came across this hotel. As it was coffee time in we went. It is beautifully appointed. The Reception area is huge (Even has a vintage Buick in it). The hotel looked very clean. Ordered our coffee from the bar and went outside to sit...

My stay here was only for a few days but I was very impressed. The view is to die for, and breakfast and dinner had something for everyone. My room did not have a view of the Fjord but looked up the mountain which was lovely. Comfortable stay and wished it had been longer.

There's only 2 big hotels to choose from when you are staying in this little city. We chose this one based on better reviews than the other hotel choice. It has a STUNNING view. We didn't book a room with a view, but we were upgraded for free without knowing because when we opened the door to our room, we...

Is correct, clean and service is good. Too big for my preference. Rooms are correct, toilet also and is well placed. Breakfast is good and there is a service to customized omelette. The views are also good and is in a quiet place.
