Was here for 3 nights during my 2 week road trip through the country. It's the longest I stayed in 1 place and I didn't want to leave. Of course, it's a simple cabin - all the basics are there. Was grateful for a real...More
The view is amazing and they serve a very tasty breakfast for to that cost 135kr (cheap for the Norwegian standard). We slept hearing the sound of the waterfall (fossen). I really recommend a weekend here!!!
We are relaxing in our little cabin overlooking Geirangerfjord as I write this. We found this accomodation suited our needs perfectly. We are doing a lot of hiking in Norway so we really don't need anything fancy. Our cabin has a bedroom with a bedroom,...More

Spectacular view from the cabin! ☺ Shower and bathroom at the cabin ☺ Great service! (He waited for us when we arrived late, and gave us a tip of a fantastic restaurant downtown that was still open). Free wifi.
I would like to camp at this place but I do not have a car. So I am wondering if there is any public transportation that we take me to the cabin. I plan to arrive by bus from Andalsnes. It will be 9 pm when arrived. Please help. Thanks.

I didn't notice public transport that takes you direct to the cabin. It's probably a 20-30 min walk from the village though. Best to contact the proprieters regarding late arrival. They may have better info on which trail to take to the cabins. There aren't any lights along the road but if you're arriving in summer, you should be ok. Just be mindful of the cars as that's a steep road with hairpin turns.
