We enjoyed several quiet relaxing days here, checking out the riding, the spa and the cuisine. Not many other English speaking patrons when we were there, but that made it all the more private. Most guests were Italian. The inn was busy during the weekend, but not so busy during the week. Our accommodations were nice. Nothing fancy, but quiet...

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Antico Castile -- The staff were very kind and hospitable, the rooms cozy and the restaurant was very nice. I think it’s a great location if you’re looking to get away to a quiet, private place and looking to really experience the Tuscan culture. We both had rooms with a veranda overlooking the Tuscan country...

Stayed for a week with my spouse and had a fantastic time. We enjoyed the food, several spa services and 6 days of horseback riding and would happily do it all over again. The bed was comfortable, the staff was very friendly and attentive, and the food and drink were plentiful and very well prepared. Luigi, our horseback riding guide,...

Nice spot, we stayed here for 3 nights. For this price and stars we expected a charming, comfortable room. The room however was the kind of 13 in a dozen and terribly dark. No possibility to sleep with the window open as there were no insect screens. The airconditioning was pre-conditioned, no possibility to turn it warmer or colder. The...

This delightful hotel spa is set on a verdant hillside overlooking a beautiful valley and the ancient hill town of Scansano in the unspoilt Maremma area of Tuscany. The gardens are a luscious palette of fragrant roses, oleandre and lavender. Staff a very warm, welcoming and helpful. The many spa treatments on offer are wonderfully de-stressing. In the restaurant you can...

Together with our friends we have had the luck to stay for 10 days this summer in the Antico Casale die Scansano. It turned out to be a wonderful stay which gave us the chance to experience Maremma at its best. The staff was very, very hospitable. All our questions (and we have had quite some) where answered with a...

We spent 12 days at the resort and we feel very relaxed. A real quiet place. The room was clean and the view from the balcony is unforgettable. The staff were always friendly and helpful (especially the breakfastservice!!). Nice pool area just a few steps down the hill. In the nearby little town of Scansano you find a good choice...

Beautifully located near the town of Scansano. Great view from the appartments, overlooking a valley. Really stunning! Good atmosphere at reception in main building. Very nice people, easy going and near native speakers. Steep walk though to get there, which is the only minus. Great restaurant, had lovely dinner there, with great food and nice people.
