Nice room, touristic menu 18 € ,a very good service and a personal contact with the manager of the hotel. He arrange for the Belgian a place for the Belgian football in the lobby of the hotel. On the roof was a small swimmingpool but during our period the bar was closed. Breakfast was great with fresh bread and fruit....

We've spent four nights there. The quality-price ratio is worth it (you can find good offers on booking websites and pay 50€ a double room per night in bb). The rooms are small but clean and nice, though the furniture is a little old fashioned and basic and the carpets slightly worn out. There is a small roof swimming pool...

The colour and architecture of the hotel made me think of the typical Sicilian sweets and may be a little bit outdated, but it is the inner side that matters to make a stay in an hotel lovely. And in this the Hotel d'Orange d'Alcantara excels. We had a spacious, bright room with a balcony open to the hills around...

The hotel could do with some TLC as everything was old and faded. The beds and the pillows were so hard and the dining room was dark and dingy. The one thing that worked really well was the shower although the bathroom decor was dreary. On the plus side the staff were friendly and the food was good. The hotel was...

Stayed here with Ramblers and it is an ideal location for walking and exploring the area. I did a room share at the back of the hotel which was free from traffic noise. The staff were lovely...however I do think that as we had rain for a couple of days (one of which was a torrential thunderstorm) some form of...

Dear SandieDev, thank you for the time to dedicate to write a review about our hotel. About the "drying room" if you mean if we can dry your wet clothes, yes we have, we provide that service for free. The bar bills for sure can be introduce in better layout but the bills are always correct and also Mariella gave...

This hotel might have had its glory days in the sixties, but now its glory really faded. The rooms are so so, the beds are not very comfortable, the breakfast is poor and the ambiance is likewise.... It's a sad hotel actually. Nice staff though. The restaurant / pizzeria d'Aragona in the hotel is even worse... The pizzeria serves pizza's...

Dear Isspa, First you are not from Lipari :-) Second our hotel opened in 1983 this mean your review is strongly aggressive and false because you declare our hotel is from '60, sound like a revenge we don't know for what. You didn't like the hotel and that is your personal opinion. We can't do noting for that. We have...

My daughter, sister and I spent a week at this lovely hotel when we did a Rambler's walking holiday in Sicily recently. The hotel was first class and I have to say the photos on the website don't do it justice. We had spacious rooms, complete with air conditioning and a fridge, both of which were a real bonus. The...

We stayed here 13 nights, arriving in the middle of a crashing thunderstorm - not quite the weather we'd anticipated for sunny Sicily! Our room commanded a fine vista of some finished, and some unfinished, apartment blocks. The room itself contained a vast, and very comfortable double bed. The en-suite bathroom rather mystifyingly has a frosted glass window into the...
