rooms are very neat and clean, very warm welcoming people, best service of the whole family, nice homily food, free transportation to the Sanctuary of Padre Pio, solemn breakfast with variety of dishes thanks for all the members of that family
We have been Clint’s for the past 18 years, and have always left setified with the services and the food we ate until today’s visit. Today upon arrival we made reservation for the four of us to have dinner at 1:00 pm. Upon arrival we noticed that the restaurant was occupied by several hundreds of people. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated. When ordering our meal there was no issues, until it came time to receive our second plate which we all four ordered mozzarella. At which time the waiter advised us that they had run out of the mozzarella’s and gave us the option to order sausage and meat. Upon receiving the meat dishes, we found the meat to be uncooked and very hard to eat. Therefore, the waiter was advised and took the meat back to the kitchen only to return 10 min later with the same meat plates still uncooked. The owner partner was advised but nothing was done. Ve were all un satisfied with the service and the quality of the food.…
We were in SGR for a night to visit the Padre Pio shrine. In general, while short, our stay was very pleasant. The bed was comfortable and the toilet was huge! There was complimentary breakfast (breads and cereals, not really the best but would be enough for you to start the day). The hotel is within walking distance to the shrine, but due to the steep roads I suggest that you avail of the complimentary shuttle services that the hotel provides to/from Padre Pio shrine and the bus stop. If you are taking the bus from Monte Sant Angelo you can just take the stairs down from the bus stop and you will see the hotel across the road. The hotel has a gift shop where you can buy souvenir items. One pt for improvement though is the room’s A/C - we visited during the summer and the room temp was set at 26degC. Quite warm but we managed to sleep through the night anyway. TV had Italian channels only. …
Very big room ,only bathroom was small, Friendly staff. Very nice and tasty pasta. Free shuttle to bus station and also to padro pio cathedral. They also sell house made pasta and regional wine .Also wifi is very good and free.
We stayed here during our recent 2 day pilgrimage to the Padre Pio sanctuary in San Giovanni. The hotel is very conveniently situated, close to the bus stop and about 10 mins to the sanctuary- if you take the steps from the sanctuary to the hotel and vice versa. People at the hotel were gracious, they spoke English, rooms were clean, good wifi signal in the room, adequate breakfast and one night we had dinner at the hotel. On the morning of our departure Giuseppe drove us to the bus stop because it was raining and we were late for our 7.30 am bus to Foggia. Would definitely stay here again.
